Many projects are given to GLCs not individuals ...and these assumed 10% profits have to be earned by someone if projects are to be executed.. they are not outright misappropriation ... there were a lot of bailouts of crony companies but even those are lost through operations which employed many people , not into own pockets .. similarly those Bsnk Negara forex that supposedly DrM lost ... it was not into his pockets...it was his misjudgment of market . .. we most distinguish between losses as a result of bad management / judgement from those which are outright corruption/ misappropriation...that is why I annoyed by those comparing 1MDB losses with “losses” from DrM era
