That is what he told me. I apologize if this is not true. I just posted what I've been told to share with the community for our own benefit. The best is to get confirmation from the store. I will go to CM Setapak to confirm this as well when I have the time.

Hmmm I'd like to think that this is available at larger Courts outlets. But if it is true, until the Elite lands on our shores AND at the nearby Courts (I'll say Courts PJ) then I don't mind getting the 360 for my own.

Aiya, today was in my mother in law place in Cheras so just drop by Court Mammoth in Cheras trying my luck there. Same answer from the sales person, 3 month warranty only and will update me if there is any changes. Apparently, they didn't get the stock directly from Singapore but from third party in malaysia.

Well, if that's the case then that's a very bad bit of business by Courts Mammoth. 3 months warranty for refurbished units (or new units) for a console that's known to have so many issues especially the 3ROD. Third party in Malaysia? Doesn't sound too good now. Would be stupid to buy from them at all because we know the 360's could die at any moment. With their high RM1499 price, at least they should be able to provide some decent warranty.

This almost makes me laugh.

Let's hope they decide to do something about that warranty.

never trust your local game store warranty... except some reputable stores which are so well known in KL. Also... avoid sungai wang's game stores at all cost.
