Man I'm really getting old, Obi Wan just didn't do anything for me. I read they got Flea to cameo but man it's just another inconsequential bit roles that go nowhere. I didn't watch any of the other shows, are they this bland and milking old materials. I was hoping something totally new but just another rehashing of the old SW themes. Don't take this as a harsh criticism of the show just that it's not my cup of coffee.

I enjoyed Kenobi.. the young star playing as Pricess Leia hit all the right notes.

once again Ewan McGregor acted as Obi Wan flawlessly.

Only 2nd episode, be patient for more story to reveal.

Also if you've watch Clone Wars + Rebels you'll appreciate Kenobi at a deeper level.

Rebels > Clone Wars. But there are some episodes in Clone Wars that are really good and helps explain the whole Star Wars series better.
Rebels - all episodes were good... best Star Wars animation out there.
Bad Batch also worth watching - waiting 2nd season.. recommend to watch Clone Wars first so that you'll know who they are.

Worst of them is Resistance - can skip as it is about Disney's new Star Wars ep7 onwards. The story and acting is unbearable for me. Many at Reddit say this series is not worth watching.

Now Unifi with Ultimate TV Package also got free Disney+Hotstar subscription.

That's the problem, I don't need prerequisite knowledge in order to enjoy this show. I'm not saying the show is terrible or anything like that, really cannot appreciate what Disney is doing with SW IP. My loss is your gain. No harm done.

so far I find Disney Star Wars shows good - Mandalorian, Boba Fett (except some cheesy parts), next Andor + Ashoka also coming. Kenobi I can't comment yet till I watched all 6 episodes. Oh and I'm waiting for Acolyte (year 2023 or 2024 release) - this show will explain deeply about the dark side (before Ep1 A New Hope - during High Republic era), it will explain how the Jedi were living a golden age (no wars) and how the Sith is slowly building up in the back.. up to Palpatine taking control of the Republic.

Movies is opposite, Star Wars Ep 7,8 and 9 were all big flops. They have to make a way better movie series to reach the level of George Lucas'.

Errrmmm....to each his own. I"m not binded to any particular IP. My focus is good storytelling. Sadly none of the new SW shows or movies does it. Think I enjoyed Visions the anime shots. Those at least try to change the legacy Lucas sandbox. Again it's not my cup of tea. Different strokes for different folks.

Still Disney+ worth to subscribe if you like Marvel. Many good stuffs for kids to watch also 😄

I'm a big Star Wars fan since I was a kid. Like their lore and stuffs. Even finished many of the Star Wars games. Hope they don't disappoint with their new movies again.

And classic Fox movies like Die Hard trilogy the 90s blockbuster like the rock con air titanic armageddon plus others

Those were used 2 be in Netflix circa 2017-2018 like that plus of course the Marvel Netflixes series

I think the best part of obi is 1st episode the opening credits where they compile all the story together hahahaha
