QUOTE(Stirmling @ May 30 2021, 03:46 PM) i thought i was the only one lol See price of overnight sleep test + need to take day off vs see price of Honor Band 5 or some SPO2 meter with overnight log end up take the Honor Band, still useful as HR tracker, SPO2 sensor only detect during time of activation only, no tracker + not really good accuracy. since was still worried about OSA, end up bought that Contec SPO2 tracker anyway. in the end probably not OSA, probably just caffeine induced insomnia + very rowdy neighbour 🤣 So now sleep with earplugs on? QUOTE(RoastedChicken @ May 30 2021, 04:05 PM) interested to get one oximeter, pls advise which shud we get? https://shopee.com.my/%F0%9F%94%A5Cheapest-...297.10401799020what bout this? Get Medisana PM100 for RM155 from any Caring Pharmacy, but you have to book from them because it is selling like hot cakes. Don't buy from Shopee, it's more expensive. It is a reliable German brand with 3 years warranty. I just got one unit. This post has been edited by nomen: May 30 2021, 04:30 PM

Obviously if u wanna compare to proper wan I think proper finger oximeter is better. If some no name brand I think better buy honor band at least can use for something else as well...

QUOTE(evilsmile @ May 30 2021, 02:36 PM) to be honest i highly doubt those writst-based oximeter like apple watch, smart bands etc but got some hardcore fans says if apple says it accurate means it accurate and reliable I've tested my Apple Watch 6 with the medical grade one in hospital that's being attached to the BP machine, it's pretty accurate. Most of the time it's the same, at times it's 1% different and at max variance it was 2%.

It's below 95% danger already. Not 91.
If 91 should be in hospital already.

oximeter can only do so much it gives u the reading but it doesn't resolve your problem
if u feel shortness of breath, lie on your stomach

Provide O2 if SpO2 is <90% - aim to maintain SpO2 at 90-94%

guys i've already got mine, heres how to test of yours work
clip it in your finger, average reading should be about 96% after that take a few deep breaths , you'll see the reading go up to 99% after that hold your breath for 1min, you'll see the reading drop to 90% or below
