So all these IP lag, is more of DNS routing issue right? Not because of bandwidth insufficiency.

QUOTE(heLL_bOy @ Sep 16 2021, 05:03 PM) dns function is providing a way to map names (a website you're seeking) to numbers (the address for the website). So different Unifi IP range will have different routing routes? Hence changing to certain IP range will become better than other address?nothing to do with dns routing. Its TM unsufficent bandwidth on certain route or certain route path going to destination on long path which cause higher latency (example: destination you wanted to connect is LAX.. TM certain route may get you from KL > SG > Paris > NY > LAX. Is 60.x.x.x the "premium" range? My relatives on Streamyx recently locked on 60.x.x.x the latency seems worse than before where it was wild wild west assignment, but usually 175.x.x.x occasionally on a Sunday or Saturday morning only can get 60.x.x.x Now its always 60.x.x.x. QUOTE(go626201 @ Sep 17 2021, 11:47 AM) Does not have any premium ips range now. So this problem is not solvable as yet right? Like if email them, will they reply to our technical analysis?Only depends on your usage, specific ip prefix range will have different routing. Example 175.X.X.X might have better routing to some network “For this week” and at the same time 115.X.X.X to the same network might be worse. But after few days, the situation might be reverse or both getting worse result or both get better result. So u have to try yourself to see which ip range is better for you at the moment. And also every night(between 8.30pm to 10pm) TM to some SG network will having sudden spikes or packet lost issue for about 30-60min? (Now is better than 2month ago) |

Anyone can get TM to address this issues through individual complaint? Perhaps push the complaint above the 1st level 'reset port/send team to your house' staff.
