QUOTE(shingin @ May 27 2009, 10:56 AM) Called the pet shop owner, Mei Yee this morning. Confirmed that chinchillas are displayed and she claimed that those chins are displayed in the show unit not aquarium. However, I did explain to her about the heat stroke issues and temperature shall maintain below 28-30 degree and ventilation is required. Very impressed that she accepted all my comments and told me that she will remove those chins from carefour. I didn't order her to remove immediately as I think it is very rude to do so. However I expected the chins will be remove b4 friday. half great! Another half have to wait see are those chins begin remove and place in A BETTER PLACE. Mana tau they remove, put in store room, even worst.... Very sad that I dun go to carefour subang and I can't follow up with this case. Can anyone who stays near subang or will go carefour subang let me know if chins still display/suffering in carefour. Thank you. |

QUOTE(keziaxo @ May 29 2009, 08:22 PM) do chinchilla's hiss or make any sounds when you pick them up? or are they like hamsters and rabbits in the sense that they do not make any sounds? basically, chinchilla wont make sound when you pick them up, however if they feel really afraid and want to run away, they have some very gentle 'hmm/sigh..' sound. |

LOLS...XD You have done a great job adopted them, enjoy them, care for them, their life is completely depend on us. I've been tRying to put up some of my otheR pets foR adoption but it's just not that easy to Let go of them... T_________________T So... i end up stiLL keeping most of them O_o At 1 point i did think of retuRning them to the pRevious owneR... But eveRy1 eLse was teLLing me not to do it because they said chins R cute & Rare... HoweveR...They faiL to notice that I'm the one who has to cLean up afteR them & beaR aLL the expenses on my own... Let's share some of your thought how your feeding your chinchilla? Let's start with me. I feed my chin once.twice a day, depend on the need of that particular chin, some of the chin will hv control pellet ration on the feeding depend on situation. Hay is unlimited, top up fresh hay each day, remove uneaten, they will loveeee to eat the fresh, great smelling hay each time you feed them. I also provided some healthy reward like apple chew stick, they will whack the stick like no tomorrow. This post has been edited by Chinchillas: Jun 11 2009, 01:14 PM |
