Hi there Chincilla lovers! I'm just wondering if it's not possible to have a 24/7 air cond environment for the Chincillas, would fan that is directed at them 24/7 work as well? Thanks!

No fan wont help reduce heat for chinchilla, and cannot blow directly to them as well. Fan is to use for ventilation. Chinchilla release heat from feet and ear.

Yes, every day for 2 weeks, after that 3 time a week, then see how it go.

You no need to seperate the chin from another room, unless you get new chin from unknown source, then you need to quaranteen the chin to another ROOM.

Is normal, no need any cream. To apply cream is when the chin stand on wire bottom for too long and having bumble feet(will hv blood), then the cream needed to apply.

They feet is design to hock on mountain ROCK, it mean to be rough, so they can jump from rock to rock in the wild.

fungus will spread, by contact, not by air. After you handle the chin that have fungus, wash hand. Don't go hold another chin when your hand not wash. Dont part the cage together.

hi, i think my chin is havin fungus.. cos one side of the eye lid had no fur oledi >.< i am giving it dust bath with the powder everyday. i read somewhere saying that it would be more effective if apply the powder directly to the affected area. but then it's on the eyelid and i'm afraid the powder might get into the eye. will it be ok if the powder drop into the eye?
by the way the other side of it's eye is not opening this morning. jus now i try to catch it out and try to see what's going on. then after that it manage to open a bit. i try to drop some clean water into the unopen eye adi. what else can i do? kinda worried.

When you get your chin? Your chin may have eyes infection. Please take photo to show, so i can see it clear and know what problem.
