my experience so far with unifi
1) cable broken between tiang n the black box (~15m) (cause? monkey), unifi come and replace cable between tiang to wall (~10m), then splice it. FOC
2) cable broken again, same reason as (1), unifi come and replace the same length again, same process. FOC
3) same reason as above, this time replace whole length, with extra few meter. FOC
every time FOC because its before the black box.

I don't have black box. They direct pull the whole cable from the terminal into my house using black wire. I saw those got box will split thin white color cable out.

How to count like that? Really GG.

last year a rat bite broken my fiber in the house near the modem .
made a service report .
unifi tech came and fix for free.

your one got split to white cable or not? Mine don't have.

Mind to share how to fix it ?

mine have a fiber termination box at back wall of my house.

then the white fiber to my modem .

since this cable was bitten .

they instal a small white box . near my modem .

connect a plug to the broken fiber end .
and a patch cord from this white box to my modem .

Splicing machine not cheap to buy and not cheap to calibrate wor.. Only RM100 to rejoin?

Buy fiber konektor. No need splice if broken just terminate both ends and konek back if that happens.
