No news about that yet. The local distro will update me as soon as they get the stocks for local retail.

who says so?

the psu only going to affect the system stability and potential to O/C higher

it has nothing to do with 3dmark scores

do read everything

The rig being tortured with dual instances of Prime95 while running 3D Mark06 with lots of background stuff still running! It still managed to get 6400+ marks.  Some rigs can't even do 6400+ marks just running purely 3DM06 without any other stuff running. Anyway, that was just to stress it beyond normal usage scenarios so I can torture the PSU.

i believe this justifys what im saying

I pity the poor sap that has to come up with the 3 800USD 300 watt DC loads that will be needed to test this thing tongue.gif

Later lah, when you wanna sponsor my ass tongue.gif

Busy with reviews of my own, but given time i might be able to complete a load as i designed below.

CODE

----> DC input -----> Current Limiting Resistor ------> Pass Transistor (MOSFET) -----> GND
                                                                                        |
                                                                                        |
                                                                                        |
Square Wave Generator (configured for VRDSon)
                                                                                        |
                                                                                        |
                                                                                        |
Variable Duty Cycle Generator (Stoopid chopper and resistance knob)

The problem is getting the heatsink needed for the pass transistor. I need something big and reliable enough to do 200 watts without resorting to fans (or you can't measure sound level) to mount the MOSFET on.

All expensive business. Gua tarak lui.

bro how about i sponser 2pcs peltier 120W for cooling the pass transistor.
it comes with 2set of it including the black heavy heatsink

so u can have some benchmark for us. icon_rolleyes.gif
