QUOTE(cilimerah @ Sep 26 2021, 10:52 AM) Yes I'm considering Java Zelo and Raleigh Classic. But recently found a quite nicely designed bike called crosstec. It's also quite cheap. Has anyone tried it? Is it a good bike? then buy that…looks better than zelo and classicif want mod all parts in future, i would prefer classic since use v-brake. QUOTE(megahertz @ Sep 30 2021, 11:01 AM) can u tell me why the wheelset on XDS k3 much better on TRS rocher ? i didn't said K3.2 wheelset is better. just that u said trs expensive then i just give u other option.based on other spec compare, i just like this on rocher more, because i no need to do upgrade. so for me worth much more money. TRS rocher ( vs XDS K3) - novatec D481SBT/B042SB sealed bearing( vs Hub FR Seal Bearing 28h) - tyre innova 20" x 1-3/8 ( vs Tyre CST 20" X 1.5") - tektro hydraulic disc brake ( vs Mechanic Disc Brake T-2) - shimano deore 10speed ( vs LTWOO 10 speed) - cassette 11-42T ( vs 11-36T) - prowheel crank 53T ( vs Prowheel crank 48T) u don't want upgrade then can get this too ![]() |

i don't understand why u all need disc brake for folding bike, u guys ride under 200 rainy days out of 365days?
u guys always climb uphill and sprint down hill fast? u guys know disc brake rim O.L.D size is 100/135mm vs rim brake 74/130mm? u guys know that means impact folding size? |

talking about price and spec, the best spec folding bike under rm2k before pandemic was Java Ira Pro

QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Sep 30 2021, 03:36 PM) yes this i agree. damn worth it for just below rm2k. after pnademic jilakak kena goreng until rm3-4k. haha, can't look back already. i guess newcomers didn't read previous thread so they don't know about this "king of spec".those who bought pre-pandemic when resell their used ira can profit some more. even decathlon road bike not ppl first choice, but now looks worth like buy groupset free bike…lol https://www.carousell.com.my/p/decathlon-tr...ike-1076123797/ QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Sep 30 2021, 03:39 PM) minivelo is like something in between, neither here nor there. yalo…not portable like folding bike and not fast like road bike.small like foldie but cannot fold. only if you're really interested in it otherwise i know of 2 guys who bought and re-sold it in less than 6 months of riding it. |

QUOTE(potachan @ Sep 30 2021, 04:22 PM) My usage is for ride around taman and sometimes when go travel to other state can put it inside car and take it out for a ride. That's why i thought folding bike suitable for me. "travel to other state", "sometimes"if those requirements i think smaller and compact folding bike like Pikes will be better, if u "fold" time is more than "ride" time. QUOTE(megahertz @ Sep 30 2021, 04:48 PM) the brand and frame is good. but still im not impress with the spec. what are you going to do with so called "spec"? what's your usage?with current trending, steel price increase + shimano parts low stock, the price will be increase even more i guess if u obsessed with spec, have u studied Java Ira Pro spec? |
