Hi,

Try going to Programs->AutoProfile and select Maxis 3G (I assume you have 3G). Then select OK.

Then get a friend to send an MMS to you and see whether you can receive. If ok, then try sending one MMS out. If you have problem sending, check whether the receipient's phone number has any space in between the numbers. If yes, remove this space and try again.

If all also don't work, then guess you have to call Maxis again.

As for the reading & typing in chinese thingy, so sorry as I am a banana person (means I don't read chinese) and so, I did not do anything about this. If I am not mistaken, you need a 3rd party software like CE-Star for that. I have also read of the sunglobe font method but that is only for viewing purpose. Perhaps you can do a google and search for "sunglobe read chinese WM" and see whether there is anything there that you can use.

I had install this CE-star. It views the mandarin text perfectly. Now the phone cannot view Korean text so far. Some mp3 of mine showing Korean text. The phone doesn't allow Korean text file drag into the phone as well..hehe

Another Forumer suggested me to get trends mobile chinese font patch. Too bad, the site was stucked until today.

Whoever need this 4GB SDHC patch. Here it is. No need to register into any forum. This is freeware, i suppose.(Right?!)

I also forgotten where i found this patch. But it really tooks me days to get this patch.

Remember, proceed all the instructions inside the LG ks20. Not thru PC..

By the way, i had uninstall CE-star now. Then i installed Chinese font patch from Trends mobile.

It can view the Mandarin text in certain area like SMS & certain applications.

But it cannot display Mandarin text in Qian Qian player & minilyrics player anymore instead of weird code.

Except install back CE-star which can display the Mandarin text.

oh.. i never try those software you mention, maybe you need to use CE-star instead

Hi Guys... I just set up the 3G on my KS20 and is now connected to Maxis 3G.
My question, is there any cost will charged to bill if the 3G is on on my phone, 'cause i see that there is time showing how long i connected to 3G.

when you use 3g service only they will bill it in. if not it will not show in your bills.

I've tested the CE-Star and it work well with those Chinese base application (Handy Calendar), but too bad that make my phone very the super unstable... time to time will just hang the phone... That's why i give up on those... use back only English... Stable and work well...

For Chinese support, I install the chinese font and PlumSIP to the system... it work quit well except, sometime will have "da'vinci code" on some application... But overall.. it's just work well for normal use....

Just tested my KS 20 with Axim Executive BT Keyboard and it work dan well... I love it so much that no one will able to get it away from me anymore!!!

BTW... anyone know where can I get the Car charger for KS 20?

so far any hang issue on this phone? Quite tempting to get it now.
