hello evilpuppy, how are you. thank for trying out your HD2 for my financial site.

DrWho, Ed n others.... i am struggling to 'sort out' my android inside my acer liquid. its very fast with the snapdragon processor. like the plastic feel, the right size, right weight and of course the thoroughbred glossy black look. andriod? oh ... headache. acer? omg, it has its own was in its UI. end of report ... hehe

Hi,

Can anyone please post their screen calibration data for the KS20.

Its located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH under the entry "calibration data"

it's a set of 5 paired values separated by commas e.g. aaa,bbb ccc,ddd eee,fff ggg,hhh, iii,jjj

I need this because someone was playing with my screen alignment and its totally out! I can't even navigate to "align screen" and have it re-calibrated manually.

Thanks.

nope that didn't work unfortunately. the program could navigate within the phone but i guess to align the screen it requires physical touch of the screen, thanks tho..

anybody here wanna post their screen calibration data in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH under the entry "calibration data"

android OS is good. smooth. fast.

Acer Liquid runs well witht eh Adroid Donut. Except it hanged once after 3 days of usage when i could not press the 'receive call' button for an incoming call. i shut it off, and on again, and it works fine again.

evilpuppy, yeah, trying the andriod. so far so smooth. like it alot although i dunno how to customise it yet ..... hehe

I don't come to forums much anymore. In fact I have not visited the iPhone 3G thread in LYN before.. all I know for LYN is KS20. Yay.. the good ol days. Anyway, even if I got hold if iPhone FOUR, unlikely I'll join the thread. smile.gif

I plan to get a local certified set from either DiGi or Maxis. More of warranty coverage. On the other hand, I have telephone bill that soar to almost Rm200 a month, hence getting a set from local contracts benefits me, both ways. smile.gif

too bad not many of us are coming over here for a light chatr anymore.

yaya, i simply wonder if the iphone 4 is functioning well... so much of the negative news abt it. yet, i believe that it shd be a faster and smoother gadget.

U might think that I am siding Apple products but actually, iPhone FOUR is fine. Every phone in the market has good and bad points. Just that not many 'brag' about it when it happens to other products. For Apple products, they just get more free negative publicity ....

Being a 3G owner, I'll expect the same on what I get from iPhone FOUR, but of cos vast improvement in performance.. smile.gif OS and UI all the same la.. so nothing biggie here.

agree agree. iphone cant be 'that bad'. my only concern is the bat life, as i experieced only 1 day of usage, and i had to charge it each day.

I don't play with my iPhone much anymore, so on normal usage, it can last me for about 3 to 4 days. If you're heavy user with constant 3G connectivity, then battery life will be short.

i am surprised your iphone 3GS can last 2 to 3 days. my last unit barely lasted 1 full day and i had to charge it every night. just like my present acer liquid, its apalling as i need to charge it each night. sigh ... y cant acer build a decent batery? btw, i am a light user of phones these days ... but my omnia 2 is great, lasting over three days of normal use.

Ed, seriously, me also considering iphone 4 as the 16g is very affordable now.

DrWho is busy at the HD2 thread ... i know it because i had a little 'peep' over that thread .... haha ...

Mikey, someone urged me to 'jailbreak' my iPhone but I'm just too lazy. I just don't have effort like last time when I played my KS20. Anyway, recently I switched the KS20 on (after half a year maybe) and it's still kinda cool and brings me a lot of good memories, especially knowing you guys here.

sorry to hear about broken screen... gotta be really careful using these hi-tech gadgets nowadays. Not like those good ol Nokias where dropped, tho everything smashed into individual pieces, reassmble and can continue talking.
