Hi, i'm facing some problems with my KS20, help y'all can help..

1) Wifi connected but can't browse..sometimes can, but most of the time can't.

I have two ks20.

One can receive signal from router from a longer distance
but another one only can receive signal from the same router from a nearer distance..

Anyway to improve the receiving of the signal??

Can anyone please anyone tell me these about LG KS20:

1. Headset : Does it have 3.5 mm jack, or it uses LG Headset. As in GSMArena it stated that it has 3.5 mm jack adapter. And is the headset sound good. No 3.5 mm jack but adapter provided.

2. Wi-Fi : Does the Wi-Fi work most of the time. Is it convinient? And do you need a really speed Wi-Fi speed to actualy able to browse or simply moderate speed, because I think my U only has quite moderate Wi-Fi connectivity. If my notebook can browse FB or FS , so does it means the KS20 will be able too? WiFi works efficiently but still tweakable

3. Sound : Most of the users stated that the KS20 has quite poor sound quality. How poor is it? If possible can anyone give any other phones that has quite similar sound quality as KS20. The more examples, the better. And does the ringtone and message alert be changed with my own MP3 files. Sounds very bad

4. Video Playback : Is it OK? Can I install/ is there application that support AVI file. You need third party player, like Core Player

5. Comparison : Compared to LG KU990 Viewty, which one of these phone will be boring after sometimes.

6. Soft Reset : How to do? Will it damage the phone in any way. Soft Reset is good for your KS20 health. Recommended to be done daily.

7. M. Office : Does it work almost like the one in PCs. And again is it convinient if I want to type anything or edit file?

8. Value buy?

9. Biggest drawback(s)?

10. And about the hang problem, is it really that bad and annoying. Will not hang if configured properly

I'm really excited about this phone because of the WM6, Wi-Fi, MOffice. And really looking foward to buy one. The only thing is that I'm afraid that some of the preinstalled applications won't work perfectly or what I expect the would. Especially the Wi-Fi. Please and thank you, and if there anything you want to add just add, anything that will help me. This is the cheapest WM phone in the market

And should i buy the LG KU990 Viewty or this phone. I need a phone that I won't get bored easily.

but i think the sunds is not that bad if use the earphone, quite decent or a phone that not created phone audio purpose, tho i wish it has an audio jack... (any recommrndations on a gud ui@launcer freeware)

Yes, you need an external GPS device. It is more cost effective to change to a phone with GPS

i agree with you that the default alarm is good provided can get a good wav file.

I used spb time and g-alarm before, i think both drain memory 

would you mind to share your good alarm wav file here?

hello guys,
saw u guys chatting bout sktool so i googled and found their website, downloaded the lite version which has only 1 download link, and then when i wanted to extract the cab file in my phone, it says.. file format unrecognized.

well, off the shelf, HD isn't user friendly then. Not everyone has the experience and knowledge to 'tweak' the fone.... in fact, it's the same for most 'stock' Windows Mobile devices.

I had WM stock w/o any UI in KS20. To me, it's dead ugly until I tweaked it to b ala iphone. Now, I dun think I can live with WinMo without all my customized apps.

I've never tried TF3D in HD but in Diamond, it's slow n jerky.

Anyhow, I hope d new WinMo can b much beter, not d Win 3.11 style anymore.
