bill11 if you are married you can create a joint IBKR acct, which I don't think Moomoo has

sent you PM. a few months ago they have a bug where malaysians can't register Moomoo SG directly though. you try & see

if it fails, you need to signup Moomoo MY, then activate Moomoo SG

gedebe you also get 6.8% p.a. (but only for 1 month) if you put any money into Cash Plus

  1. convert to SGD, send to OCBC, send to MBB sg and convert? (heard sometimes MBB sg conversion to RM is as competitive as CIMB SG) no longer viable, OCBC closing doors to non sg residence by Dec 15, 2024
  2. convert to SGD, send to OCBC, OCBC deposit to Wise SG balance, convert to RM no longer viable, OCBC closing doors to non sg residence by Dec 15, 2024
  3. open CIMB MY & CIMB SG. since you have singapore bank acct, activating CIMB sg is very easy, just deposit S$1k.

    convert to SGD send to CIMB sg, and send back to CIMB MY
  4. if you die die want to send USD, it's is possible to send USD back to malaysian bank multi currency account for S$30

adam1190 need to check the tnc for kremlin's promo. they closed that cash plus loophole for the newer promos, have to buy stocks

so i guess, if don't know what to buy, can convert to USD and buy $BIL (also has its own set of forex risks)

Songchien just try it. SG address is not needed since if you already have Moomoo MY acct, they know your address

what SG banks & SG brokers do u have right now?

if it was me, i'll just send SGD to IBKR, convert to USD and buy BIL etf. 4.55%. it's only if u want to buy Treasury bill direct, then you need min USD10k (forgot exact amt)

OPT very expensive to transfer out for Moomoo MY (i asked already, even if Moomoo SG stock transfer to Moomoo MY, no rebates on transfer fee). only feasible way is to sell, convert back to MYR. then redeposit/reconvert to SGD/USD
