Can anyone guide me step by step on how to transfer a company's vehicle to an individual's name?
Hope someone that has done this before can share his/her experience as this topic is hard to find information online.
Thanks in advance.

If Sdn Bhd, u need a resolution from the company secretary together with Form 24, 49 & M&A. The director must sign the resolution plus the transfer form with company chop.

Another note, if the company already defunct and SSM already terminated officially, u cannot transfer the ownership.

Hello. Thanks for the info.
What do I have to do after obtaining those documents?
Any documents that the car recipient need to prepare?
Do I need to bring the car for inspection?

Once u hv the docs, take the car to Puspakom for inspection and later go to JPJ for thumbprint verification. Would be a lot easier if u hv a runner. Reason because the JPJ tend to be full of people at any given time.

You might have to dispose it at market value, which means u need to pay the company or net off any balance the company is owing you.

Do you have any information on the cost to settle the transfer, excluding the runner’s fee?
If I were to hire a runner, where do I find them and how much would it cost?
With the runner does it mean I have to pass the car to the runner to deal with the inspection?

Thanks again.

You can't do it with just a runner any longer as you'll need to do a thumbprint.

I've a car that is stuck for that very reason, I was transferring a personal car to the sdn bhd that I owned and I had to leave in a hurry. Only after I left found out about the finger print requirement.

Also do note that such types of transfers are a favorite for IRB audits because it isn't considered an "arm's length" transfer or transaction.

It'll be transferred at market value and your company will have to record a gain if market value is above book value. From a tax accountant.
