After been sold to saudi investment fund they really upgraded most of their stores and now all have self service counters modern ambience kitchen renovated etc. Yahudi pricing but still packed with customers,because they like the ambience and offerings.

Or look at jaya grocer. Suddenly every new mall sure got this store even though their prices are not really cheap. All new stores etc. serious capital injection.

Few times already I go in, can't find what I want, didn't buy anything.

Ive bought kitchen utensils, pet collar and bowls and some garden tools and light bulbs.  You get what you pay for. Although their metal bowls do last. I say its like ordering cheap china stuff from shopee but without having to wait for shipping.  Oh and a few hardware tools., the biggest was an impact drill. That one I’m still using.
