Malaysia a lot of business were under invested. Look at mcd under berjaya... ok but getting dated. After been sold to saudi investment fund they really upgraded most of their stores and now all have self service counters modern ambience kitchen renovated etc. Yahudi pricing but still packed with customers,because they like the ambience and offerings.

Or look at jaya grocer. Suddenly every new mall sure got this store even though their prices are not really cheap. All new stores etc. serious capital injection.
