BNS should stay away from LMS Batch 2, in fact BNS should not touch any RMN naval ship building contract until they finish the delivery LCS ship.

local shipyards should form a Joint Ventures Group to jointly bid for the LMS Batch 2 project. if single shipyard get the project, chance are the project will hit with Cost Over Run and Delays like the INDIAN Government building Arjun MBT and TEJAS.

Why no other companies bidding that scope? Too high risk for cost overrun? Hence many not interested bidding it?

Airbus held a ceremony at the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA), to celebrate the achievement of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) for being the first A400M operator to log more than 10,000 flight hours worldwide in 2021.

Johan Pelissier, Head of Asia-Pacific for Airbus Defence and Space, presented the award to General Dato’ Sri Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan RMAF, Chief of Air Force to commemorate the milestone. The event was also attended by Raymond Lim, Airbus Chief Representative Malaysia; Jose Corcia, Head of Airbus Defence and Space (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei) and Addi Faiz Adnan, Head of Airbus Defence and Space for Malaysia.

Having achieved more flight hours and flight cycles than any other A400M operators, the RMAF is recognised as the A400M global fleet leader, serving as a valuable reference for all existing A400M customers and Airbus. In operation with the RMAF since 2015, the A400M has already changed the customer’s airlift operation, playing a key role in all mission types. These include cargo and personnel transport, humanitarian and disaster relief missions, transport of heavy equipment, in support of national strategy in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, medical transport, as well as air-to-air refuelling operations.

Recently, RMAF upgraded one of the A400Ms with tactical capabilities, enabling the aircraft to perform missions such as aerial delivery, full paratrooper deployment or low-level flight. The RMAF became the programme’s first export customer and is the first A400M operator in the Asia-Pacific region.

Didn't Airod have extra C-130s lying around. Better absorb these C-130s before buying anything else

Also i think we should look for the likes of Il-76 or Globemaster III or C-2 Baby Globemaster III

yeah i dun think i'd want clapped out usn/usmc f-18

at least with Kuwaiti f-18 those thing werent stressed out (lower milage, flying in dry area, etc). the same cannot be said to usn/usmc hornet

I'd rather if they trade with couple more TPS-77 radar. Or Seahawks for ASW role
