I think it's natural for dogs to want to go under chairs or tables. Kinda like a cave where they feel protected.

Just let Moonie barks and cry. It comes with a new puppy. Go to them when they bark or let them sleep with you when they bark is reinforcing the behavior. Don't do it! Really... don't do it.
Stick to your regular schedule for a new puppy... eg. 12am - out pee/poo, 3am - out pee/poo, 6am - out pee/poo. Otherwise, let her be. She will learn. RB |

I don't think my vet has said anything about regular deworming. When she was young, the feces was tested. If it has worms, medicine was given and then monthly prevention of Heartgard applied. If no worm, starts Heartgard.
After that it seems to be good. Had an annual check up not too long and shows no worms with monthly Heartgard prevention. Then again, I'm sure there are many type of worms but whatever that Heartgard prevent seems to work for me. RB |
