I bring casper out for a walk in the hills again today, about 1 hr walk. He walk until want to die, come back drink water, shower, eat... now he sleep liao. Pengsan cause hill terrain, a lot of stairs to climb - he poo also come out yellowish green!! Too much work out for him I guess... too much workout for me!

I dunno... I hope not la because the last time we went for tracking in the hills oso like that. But ever since I fed Casper Acana, normal walk around the padang also come out this color. At home, if potty on the newspaper, wont be this color. So i'm a little confused myself. Need to monitor him a while more. Next going to change to California Natural or Canidae.

Yeaaa... I agree with what ALaN- wrote, bring your shih tzu out more often, dont let him stay in until lazy, all fats, heart works harder, die faster - something like human la, if fat like dunno wat, ur heart rate is higher, ur heart work more, ur life is shorter (theoritically la). Bottomline, exercise is good.

Wont pengsan wan, I think your dog got more energy then you la... Dowan to show off oni, give you face. Dont run la, try to walk lor... walk is good, dont run cause he has to catch up, somemore the neck is leashed.

How heavy is meeko oh? Casper is about 7.5kg - 8kg not sure cause he wont stand still on the scale.

I dont really exercise a lot, I bring casper out much more lately for the past 3 - 4 weeks. Almost every morning walk at 6.45am - 7.30am. Evening walk also 7 - 8pm like that. Today is hill terran walk, 1 hour. There are times, I bring him out for walks around midnight. Sometimes I scared he dont get enough sleep as terriers should get 12 hrs of sleep, somewhere I read - and he lives at the living room with his cage / play pen, so he is always disturbed sleep because ppl come home and go out.

Next year move house must let him sleep elsewhere liao... Make sure he get his 12 hr sleep.

Hahahahaha... same here, Casper will flop on the floor also when he come back, like the whole leg cannot liao. But while outside, as long as I'm still walking, he would too and I'm slow, bit overweight now so I need to workout. Need to burn all my extra fats, get my little westie to accompany me - see who die first. Hahahahah... My casper also will try if I breath pepper on his nose whenever I come back from makan. He will sneeze sneeze, cover his face with his paws and give you that "YOU BULLY ME!" look.

When your max is hyperactive, do you do something about it? My friend's MS runs like an antelope, damn fast and bouncy wan... If bring out, go crazy, my fren tug the leash also no response - hentam run only... Should try it to a chariot to tarik us!

I think is nibble only kuaaa... got bite ke? Memang is cannot control themselves wan because dog's mouth is their communicator, like our hands la. Our hands are used to prepare their food, shower them, bring them walk, carry them, sayang them. Same la, their mouth is to show love also wan... like when puppy time, use mouth to nibble for milk, nibble their bro and sis, mom would nibble them back.

Some ppl cannot accept this, so they train the dog that using mouth is unacceptable. I used to be like that until I read somewhere on the internet that nibbling with their mouth is the only way for them to express themselves, then ok laa.. If not how worr? Expect that paws to sayang our skin meh? If kuat sikit, will become scratch, then we will say they attack us...

For me, I let Casper nibble, he doesnt bite - I believe that's the way they show affection and sometimes nibble ur toes when we play, got carried away liao ma... We just have to catch him and calm him down - that's all.

Wow, you must have a big house then!! I live in double storey terrace only, so there isnt much space for Casper to run. Next year shifting, so will design more space for him, backyard or something.
