Hi guys,
My parent decided to buy a new car for themselves, i am their guarantor. We placed a booking fee to the dealer after test drove it. It is a national car brand. Then, after waiting close to a week without any result, my folks decided to change their mind and buy another brand, national brand also.
Contacted the salesman, requested him to cancel the booking. He asks why, we said we wanted to change to another brand. He gives tons of reasons saying his brand better than that brand bla bla. He asks us to wait few more days then will get to know loan results, no need so troublesome change brand and apply all over again and etc. At that time, we were convinced by him. 2 days later, we really decided 100% not to choose his brand but buy another brand. Again, contacted him, he convinced us dont change brand and something along the line. This time, second time, we ask for cancel and request for refund, he change the topic. Never ending changing topic
Even contacted his branch, i think is the office person picked up, we asked for cancellation, but we were told to deal with the sales person himself.... damn. Really no way to bypass him
Now want to apply with another brand also headache. Because he keep on acts on his own, according to him, he will apply with other bank. If like that its bad, affect scoring for future application. He seems like trying to trap us and make us no way out and to choose to buy from him
How to deal with such case & get back by booking fee without going through him? Anybody had the same encounter?
