Hows the ride so far?
Mine feel bit rougher compared to cc6
But of course, cc6 was comfort type, so cant compare much
At the same time, suspect mine lower arm old d, feels uncomfortable bit, maybe need to change first
These tyres seems easy to be dirty and less shiny on the side wall?

For myvi G3 stock tyre is Goodyear Assurance Triplemax. Grip on this tyre is very good but compound is hard. Not comfortable and very noisy. The J6 and with +5 in profile height transformed the car. Much more livable daily now.
Update 1 Sept 2021 (Tyres ~3 weeks old / 800km mileage):
It's been rainy season the past few weeks.
- Wet grip is good
- Wet braking is acceptable. Myvi brakes suck but the tyres do help.
- Dry braking is good too

Hi bro. After you changed to profile 60 tyre, have you ever experience tyre hitting the inner wheel arch or fender? My bro kept complaining his Myvi G3 ride like a tank with stock GY triplemax tyre. We still have 1st gen & 2nd gen Myvi which is much much comfortable than this 3rd gen. He also complained frequent rubbing the bottom over bump with 4 person with an empty seat(dafuq, its not a wira for god sake). So I’m thinking whether the increased 60 profile tyre is able to solve his complain on ride comfort & bottomed over speed bumps before giving him recommendation.

Hi bro, sorry i haven't logged in to the forum for awhile.

To answer your question, no there is still quite a decent amount of gap between wheel arch and tyre.
My 60 profile tyres do not rub against the wheel arch at all.

I also have a few friends driving older gen Myvi and indeed the older Myvis are significantly more comfortable.
In the G3, the stock 55 profile tyre really makes the car drive too firm.

Overall I'd definitely recommend going with 60 profile tyres on Myvi G3 if you want comfort.
Do note that the added sidewall does make the ride less sporty.

Comfort, noise, tyre wear are very similar (overall both tyres are good in this aspect).

However the biggest downside of Conti CC6 is the terrible wet grip after a year of use.
I personally had a scare with the CC6 some time ago when the tyres lost grip briefly in the rain.

The dry and wet grip in the Dunlop J6 is significantly better than the Conti CC6.

Overall I would recommend Dunlop J6 over Conti CC6.

Hi, any idea how is j6 compared to bridgestone ecopia ep150? I asked a shop thru facebook that has Big signboard showing Continental.... but instead of giving option of continental, dunlop or viking for 185/65/R15 Nissan Almera, they quote for bridgestone ecopia ep150 only.

Hi, has anyone used this on Honda City?
Thinking of changing from the original tyre to either this or Proxes TR1 as they are both selling in a fair price

Very good wetgrip and dry braking.
Noisy a little bit at 20% b4 indicator
At 10% b4 indicator wetgrip lousy(dont dare corner above 50kmh when raining) but dry grip still cantik

wow, didn't realize J6 come out.

wanna share the experience on J5(1 year use before i switched to 15' rim) on 3 years ago.

it was really good overall based on the price, it's like middle point between cc6 and xm2+.

Really surprised when i saw this Post as i never saw anything about J6.

cc6 is crap tyre on wet surface.. any tyre is better than cc6 (in term of wet grip)

Bro, you need to try Silverstone M3 that used on Iriz 2014~2015.. That Tyre is the worst Tyre I ever use. CC6 is much better in term of wet grip than this sheit M3, i wonder what Proton was thinking when give this M3 to 1.3 Iriz and M5 to 1.6 Iriz. Crazy

Not sure about silverstone M3 as I believe it is no longer in production. The standard tyres fixed in Iriz, Persona and Saga nowaways are silverstone Kruizer which is miles ahead of CC6 in terms of everything except for noise imo. No idea why CC6 is so popular among Malaysians.

I've used J5 for 3 years. Very happy, no problem.

The only complaint: the tyre's manufacturing marking is on the inside of the tyre, so you can't see when is the manufactured date. Super ridiculous design...

Not sure if the J6 is still the same lol

cc6 is actually more expensive than some tyres but not much more comfortable and quieter than many better tyres atm2, hankook kinergy, Dunlop j6, yoko es32, Toyo cr1 etc etc.

I guess some people either just prioritize comfort and quieter over safety features or just follow trend.

welpt, it depends on where you buy it and when, nowadays tyre price increased a lot. i bought my cc6 for 14' like 5~6 years ago for 135rm++ i think. It's 1 of the cheapest you can get for 14' excluding all those weird2 brand that i never heard of.
