QUOTE(feimeng @ Sep 12 2008, 08:49 AM) The latest version is 8.30 now Am I able to update to the latest firmware if my hp is AP set?Pros/Cons noticed so far Sound : Pros - those annoyed poppop noice no longer exist, and bass becomes stronger than 4.81 - sounds like environment sound effects play fully and smoothly through the speaker now while 4.81 missing sometimes Cons - same as 6.60/7.12, bass gained too much will cause the sound to become muddy (Solution : doesn't need to gain too much since bass already enough even if just the default setting now/turn off the stereo wideing feature) Overall sound quality improved and more stable Camera : Pros - AutoFocus speed improved - flash light no longer causes objects to overexposed in macro shot - brightness while focusing in progress becomes brighter just like what you see on the screen while finding views, this improved the autofocus efficiency much. Cons - overall brightness decreased, this make the screen hard to see while in strong light condition, exp. under bright sunlight - screen flashing happened while in start and end of focusing - autofocus seems increased too fast not like the smooth focus back to 4.81, feels like will breakdown the camera mechanism easily - mechanical noices made out after capturing complete become less(2 for macro shot, 1 for other focus distance) but seems louder than b4 This part might considered improved but feel weird in some degree(feels like the style of 4.81 performed more pro than 8.30, i prefered the way 4.81 acting) Some other changes: - keypad no longer locked while operates in music player and fm radio - same like 6.60/7.12, slider sound and animation no longer changed according to themes applied - incoming sms no longer hang the phone if the music player is using the default theme that's all figured out so far i'm still working to explore more |

just bought a Sandisk 4gb Mobile Ultra microSDHC with bundled card reader for rm65. The vanilla version, non-Mobile Ultra and without card reader is RM44. Dont bother purchasing in Garage Sales as the prices here are still a bit high as compared to AllIT PJ. Its for use in my Nokia 5610XM. Fast and no problems so far. Filled the card to 3.1gb currently. Playing music all OK. No apparent lag, crashes, or anything abnormal.
The product is HERE Sandisk website has Product Compatibility guide so u will be sure it has no problems with the exact phone model u using, in this case is off course Nokia 5610XM. HERE I lurked around Nokia Europe forums and found out large number of users having problems with Kingston microSDHC on this phone. THREAD HERE Here is a review for the 8gb version : HERE Added on September 21, 2008, 6:52 pmflash (animated) wallpapers for ur Nokia 5610XM ------> HERE This post has been edited by zamanjaafar: Sep 21 2008, 06:52 PM |
