what diff btween v4.2 wit v4.80?

Hello guys! Recently got hold of this phone as my secondary phone.
I am using Hotlink 3G but I am not able to receive/send MMS using this phone. I have downloaded both 3G and GPRS MMS settings but to no avail.

I have no problem browsing the web and video call though.

Update: Problem solved on its own, probably it's just a temporary issue on Maxis side.

v4.2 has problem with the interface,when you scroll the music slider to radio & scroll back to menu page again,you can notice slightly different on the menu page. So far no other problem, you still need to wait 3 seconds when you slide to phone up to answer call in v4.81. I also heard someone having problem with bluetooth headset whereby they need to pair it everytime in v4.81

I discovered a serious bug in this latest firmware v4.81
Not only that you need to pair bluetooth headset everytime, opening Paired Device menu will cause your phone to restart most of the time.

WhenI am able to enter the Paired Devices menu, I discovered new bug. There is an error in deleting paired device, it wont delete no matter how many times you select it to be deleted.

I have similiar problem problem wif the V4.81 before. The problem resolved once i did a restore to factory default and format the memory card.

Which Restore you did? Restore Settings Only or Restore All (delete all data) ? I have tried Restore Settings Only, the problem seemed resolved for a while, all my paired devices were deleted.

Weird thing is when I start pairing with BT headset, my previously paired devices (a few handphones) magically reappear in Paired Devices menu, and I cannot delete them.

I did restore all if im not mistaken. been a week since did dat, and the problem havent appeared again yet.

Good news! Restore All solved all my problems
No need to pair the device everytime anymore, I can access "Paired Devices" menu, adding and delete paired device without problems

since the new firmware got bug,so should update to v4.81 or just wait now? btw,i notice something this few week... sometime when i typing sms,in a split second,the screen shutdown(like no battery) n then on back... anyone have the same problem?

yes...i hv the similiar situation too after update to v4.81...but not that frequent anyway

Wow.. your problem indeed more serious than mine before.. surely we open SMS more often than Bluetooth Menu right.

That was how it happened to me when I open Paired Device menu, the screen shutdown and then it goes straight to Active Standby (original screen display)... anyway that was before I did Restore All (Delete All Data). Be sure to backup your Contacts, Msgs, Notes, etc before proceed

Eh.. My Phone Start Loose Abit Edi..But I Dint Drop Or Wat B4.. But i Juz Bought It Last 4 Days Ago .. n Sometimes My hp Will Suddenly Off Power Awhile n On bak ( did u guys have the same problem? ) ..n the message receive time its not same as my hp time.. hw to set it?..
