After checking, my RM5 Koi are not crossbreed goldfish.
But my RM5 Koi, after almost half year, their color are getting nicer, more shinning. Not like what others said the color will fade off when it grows.
Mayb bcz of the food. I'm feeding them calcium food & live probiotic, sometimes yogurt.
1 of a koi orange, now the head turning red slowly.
"Japanese Koi are better than Malaysian"; I guess this is only because malaysian are feeding cheap food.
Live Probiotic are very important, but is very costly.
The live Probiotic also will help to kill bad bacteria in the water.

Cause that time I feed once daily and the amount of waste produced overwhelmed the filter. I currently do not have a water test kit. Is it really necessary to get one? I do water change every 2 weeks or if I feel the water is abit smelly.

Yeah. I'll try to find time to do more frequent water changes. Oh ya. Do I need anti chlorine after each water change?

Do I need anti chlorine after each water change? if you use tap water, then you should add a bit. for pond is too big to have reserve water. we normally have a reserve tank, and i dont put it. just run it with water pump.

I got some questions. What filtration and pump system you guys are using? How often do you change the water or how to ensure the pond looks clear and not murky.
Hope all the sifus here can answer. Thanks!

I usually do a change every 2 weeks about 25% For algae I also have a uv light so keeps the floating algae murkiness away
