camera review only so2. even hassleblad could not take it to samsung / iphone / huawei level

I think it would be better to manage expectation if they never put the Hasselblad name on the camera.

I feel they release Oneplus 9 just to make Oneplus 9 Pro looks very good.

Their main focus is hasselblad and it flopped. No wonder ex owner left

Boring launch oneplus join hands with Hassleblad just for colour image processing?? I haven't watched any videos now but I would still say initial thought S21 and iPhone 12 Pro or P40 will blow the Oneplus 9 Pro but some parts only oneplus will shine.
Oneplus also blacklist most of Asian Youtubers for being to honest about their smartphones.

This android manufacturer should stop comparing with iphones first. Themselves promoting Apple products as best devices and superior in name of comparison

Oneplus 9R could be silent winner in whole 9 series

if like this. its not much different than xperia night photo in term of brightness

U gonna buy poco f3, poco x3 pro nfc, and oneplus 9?

on the bright side, if you could take the so-so camera, overall spec is quite good considering if they decided to give standard 2 years warranty, but st senheng will be 2+1

Kinda knew OP overhyped it.

After watching a few reviews, now I understand why oneplus decided not to send their 1+9 series to DXO MARK for testing. Perhaps they know the result is not gonna be impressive compared to the other top dogs.

All these years I know camera performance is not their strong point. But this time they put up so much hype with the collaboration with Hassleblad, people would have thought that oneplus finally get on the train. But in the end, it turns out to be a disappointment. What a shame.

i guess those reviewers put 80% weightage on camera performance. well, thats oneplus fault too for overhyping the hassleblad colab.

Don't know about yet but blacklisted most if indian genuine Youtubers

Just watched comparison between 1+9 and 1+9 pro. So they are using the same tactic like Samsung. Cut the corner here and there for the vanilla version. So no surprise there. But the way they cut it....

1+9 using fhd. Ok. No problem.

But the screen is gg 5. Camera no telephoto lens. And the most ridiculous one, no ois! Wtf oneplus! What are you doing!? Even Samsung who is usually kamsiap don't do like that on their S21 vanilla. This is not the oneplus I used to know.....

For people who want to try oneplus, you should just go for the Pro. If the price is not ngam with your budget, then can go for oneplus 8 series instead. The price should be lower by now after the op9 series released. Avoid the oneplus 9 vanilla. Not worth it.

Based from mkbhd and dave2d review, camera seems so so

can expect a starting price of RM2799-2899 at least for OP9.

OP9 Pro to start at RM3899? Honestly it's not worth it la, especially considering the recent Oxygen OS has been pretty buggy and the camera still quite sluggish.
