LUMOS AURO regular is basically AKEY6. Smart one is AKEY6S - Android 6. No Android TV and Netflix HD for sure.

For off-axis projector, budget screen not much differ than wall. LCD projector with directly projection works well on anti-light screen. But your viewing angle is limited.
Personally, my DLP projector is using wall only. VP6 on anti-light screen.

I have been using this projector for 3 months now and love it for bedtime usage. Have it mounted on a floating shelf above the bed, and it's great to enjoy some Plex, Netflix, or Youtube before sleep. Such a nice, big image too. The speakers are also decent for the size and price, more than enough for casual use such as this.

I have it hooked up to my nVidia Shield TV via HDMI, as I find the Projector is a bit underpowered on its own. Having owned the Shield for a few years, the difference is really obvious

nice thread here TS, i aiming few projector but dont know which one is the best picture quality. sometime they claim a bit absurd on the performance such as 7000lumen/500ansi ,15000:1 high contract etc. currently looking at sub RM1000 model. such as Byintek Moon K20, but do you think this blitzwolf is better value for money?

Yes, some of the budget projector companies give fake specs number. Most of them come from same OEM factory with just different brands including LUMOS, BlitzWolf and Byintek. Pick the brand that give the best price and support. The hardware is basically the same.

Forget about LUMOS. All the stuff is overpriced. Personally, I am using W&H Projector Stand - PDS-06/B (Shopee). Rock solid and stable.

Most teachers using these traditional projectors. Would these budget projector be practical in classroom setting?

Image quality does improve for those budget projectors. However, brightness is still not suitable for daytime usage on large size. Most of them still designed for home entertainment. You can use them but need to keep it below 60".

How about the resolution? Those cheap projectors sometimes can’t display text clearly. The image tend to break when words are projected.

VP6 and T2 Max's texts are excellent. VP6 is still okay for daytime. T2 Max totally can't perform.

IMO projector is not something to budget with, the different is quite huge

It is 480p only. Too low resolution. Better get 720p at least.

Wanbo X1 (Shopee) and Mi TV Stick (Shopee) is the best combo at this price range. Don't buy budget projector with built-in Android. They are not worth it.

Yes, for around 40 to 70" screen size. 1080p is always better but you need to double your budget too.

Nope. I didn't check during my tests. But warm up is normal. Maybe other current T2 Max users can help...

I got this with mistick. But the volume is quite low on Netflix and other apps. i need to turn it all the way up to 90+. Is ur unit like this as well?

Don't forget to increase the volume in Mi TV Stick too. It's still okay for me. But I don't use the internal speakers usually.
