My wanbo X1 is here. I watched your YouTube guide on how to configure the calibration (https://youtu.be/skE_eaDE_Nk), but since in video, you are p playing around with the setting yourself I'm wondering where can I get the test screens shown in the video to ensure the best setting for my projector.

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Just received my wanbo x1 too. The image quality amaze me. pairing it with mi stick is just awesome.

1 question on the wanbo x1. Is there a way to adjust how big the video projected on the wall? See pic below, over the projected wall after i placed it too far. If Wanbo x1 doesnt have this function, what is this function call in projector world, would love to know in case i get another projector in the future. Thanks.

Thank you!! I have been scrolling and just missed it.

I tried it and i guess can never have a clear 251 box and the red bar 1 & 2 never get to visibility.

Overall very satisfied with the projector. Can't stop watching movies since yesterday

Thank you so much again

It's zoom function. But don't use digital zoom unless it is hardware optical. Else image quality will degrade.
Move the projector back and forth is the best way for budget projector.

You are most welcome. Hardly get perfect result on budget projector. But you can push to the best limit by calibrate it.

So basically the zoom function is non existence in this model.

I just noticed something in your review video, image below

Attached Image

Why is it called installation error? Which part of the installation become error? Cause functionality & setup wise, there is nothing much i can do with this model, but I am having this issue right now.

As for the projector position, it is already point and centre of the screen

No zoom and 4-way keystone correction. As I always mentioned, don't use them for best image quality. So nothing wrong with your projector. As long as projected directly, you are good to go.
Sorry, I don't get what is your current issue?

I read that native resolution for wanbo x1 is just 720p, when projected is there really much difference with the one with native resolution 1080p especially when we watch movies?

For video, difference is there but not much. For text, yes. You need to double the price for a great budget 1080p LCD projector.

All budget LCD projector is direct projection - lower part is blocked if put on table. Only DLP projector or expensive LCD projector use off axis projection - no block. So VP6 and C2 are direct...

Hello... Just curious... Why there's no discussion on XGIMI projectors? Is it not good?

Because XGIMI doesn't want to send one over for me to review.
They are expensive than others with the similar specs. Can't afford to get one... tongue.gif
