hi guys, i've gd news and bad news
the gd news is the owner agree to sell to me the mobo    (at rm230 though, ok har?  )
he said he willing to set the asus bios setting so that it can run my bh5 coz asus bios vy troublesome when going along wif performance ram, is it?

the bad news is i dont think i can cod wif him these few weeks coz my finals is next week

Haha.. C2D System? Well.. Guess u better stick to S478 now. As the price for C2D will drop again in future. No point to get it by now as it still new.. Price not constant.. P4P800SE is a good mobo actually.. I think u better spend the RM230 instead on RM100 to get a new system. Well.. Thats my 2cent..

About cooling system.. I had pm Albert dy. See whats his option.

Hm.. The iGreen kinda exp thou.. RM300> As if can, u just grab the Silverstone ST400 enough for u rigs dy. As i get iGreen is because my place here i cant find ST400. As for acbel.. U may as Raymond & kabu.. Both of them are using this PSU.

Anyways, here is my new result with Patriot PDP.



Running at 3.6Ghz with 225FSB. RAM timing is 2.5-3-3-7 @ default vidimm, vcore & vAGP /w 1:1 ratio..

By then, i still unable to on PAT on my 800SE with more then 200FSB.

Lol.. When i free lo.. Now dont think can. Working ah.. No time for tweaking the system. Not an easy task what.. U know that. Urs i think can reach 3.8G as well. As i had done it before with my previous 3.0E.. And im still using VR eh. Since ur using performance ram.. Shouldnt be a problem. Just try to set everything to default and push slowly. Ur running 3.6G now with 3-4-4-8 right? Try tighten it abit?

Haha.. No no.. Dont get wrong actually. My system max VM only 3.2G. The rest of the disk space were use for torrentting. I dont wan to spoil new 250G for file downloading ma..

Anyways, i think my proc can hit 3.8G without up 2much vcore and vdimm. Currently running at 3.76G with all default voltage and slightly tighten timing. Ran 2hrs 3Dmark03 without problem.

P/s: Seems like P4P800SE Perform better then my previous dlx.. By then, i got a question here, since my ram can run default in DDR533 and my mobo has this ram ratio. But i encounter problem with set the ram timing into this speed. May i know what is happening? Whenever i set to this ratio, my system cannot boot. Gotta clear cmos and set back to DDR400. Any clue from the ram ex-owner?

Haha.. Well.. U try set everything into stock speed, stock voltage. And then slowly up the fsb without adding any vcore or vdimm.. Push til ur system become unstable or cannot boot. Then at that moment u can find the max speed of ur proc on stock setting dy. As for mine, i can hit 3.76G with all stock setting.

Haha.. But TCCD is replacement of BH-5 and got advantage over BH-5.. It drain lower voltage but can go high speed @ tight timing. Impressed of this kit performance. No regret of buying it. By then, whats ur OCZ ram chip? Got any revision no on the ram kit? Might can search on the web to get information about ur ram chip. 3-4-4-8 is the loosen timing, if can try tighten it abit in order to get better responsive system.

Owh.. Default was 2-2-2-5? Not bad thou.. Mine was 3-4-4-8 eh. But still able to push til 2.5-3-3-6 @ 240mhz. Guess ur not bad also. Try tighten it when u can. By then, what u doing now? Seems so busy.

wah.even at 1.65v for vagp for my system and its still not stable at 2700mhz now upped it back to 1.7v

Oh.. All default wo. Hmm.. Vidimm is 2.5v or auto i forgot already. Should be auto if im not mistaken. As for vCore.. I set it in auto mode as well.

Yea.. Still stick with the old 10mm fan + zalman 90mm. But after change new mobo, the fan rpm get back to normal 1.9k.. Think should be the mobo problem last time. Now? Cant hunt any better hsf yet. So still stick with the hyper 6..
Haha.. Yea! Playable.. Hm.. How to capture the fps on nvidia card? Haha.. Way too long stick to ati last time. Now swap back to nvidia need to learn again.

Owh? Hm.. But i had check the vcore and vidimm using everest on 3.76G. The value for vcore was 1.3v+ never get more then 1.4v, and its same with vidimm. By then i think ur timing too tight that why cannot boot. Try 2.5-3-3-8 and see how.

if i not mistaken, running at tighter timing require more voltage than loosen timing. i think maybe you set to 2.7v vdimm will add more stability. high performance ram usually require more vdimm like 2.75v/2.8v at stock. Correct me if i am wrong.
