Yes. Agreed... Been driving it around at any chance i get lol.. Last week was my first inspection.. Using it to drive around the city.. Havent got the chance to put some milage in it.. Also, do you notice a loud clicking noise when turning on the aircond? With the window turn down..
*
That's nice bro.

What colour is yours? So far still haven't managed to come across any, even during yesterday's heavy congestion along LDP.

I guess gotta enjoy the privilege of being the first few owners [where are the other 4 thousand cars] biggrin.gif before it becomes even more common.

Oh yes.. Being the first batch owner is really something.. It becomes a thing to point out other ativa when u see one. I took the delima red. I like the blue but it's only for X variant. The pearl white is nice but having owned a white car before. You know how it is with white car.
*
Yup, admittedly it might seem like a smug factor driving around in a car that's only roughly a month old since launch. brows.gif I saw another grey unit during lunch time today too - looks nice to see other cars now before they start becoming more apparent.

Nice colour you opted for bro. Yup, tell me about white cars being a huge PITA to keep clean. laugh.gif

Same result honestly.. But sometimes i get bummed out seeing 13km of avg fuel. I get the urge to be efficient lol. Treating the meter like a game lol.
*
Haha that's towards the end though so most times I just focus more on that green average bar which tends to be full whenever I release the gas pedal and disappears whenever I lenjan it.

So far which design you prefer most? I've found myself leaving the meter in design 2. hmm.gif

I easily get 15km/l for driving gently in the city and cruising at 100-120km/h on highways, do you drive mostly on congested roads? I've seen other owners report low mileage of around 11-12km/l but I suspect they have lead in their foot.
*
Lead in foot.

Good one! brows.gif

Any owners here felt that the front doors are quite difficult to close? I always need to push the door harder than usual for it to fully close. Planning to highlight this during my 1,000km inspection due end of the month.
*
Especially the front passenger. Driver side not really that bad in my case.

The one I encountered was need to swing much harder to close it properly. blush.gif

Yes I think we are talking about the same issue here. Did you manage to get it resolve?
*
So far I've only used the car around a week and the issue is more acute on the front passenger. The other 3 doors seems fine.

Might just mention it during my upcoming 1st inspection to see if they are able to do something about it

Design 2 is the one that has a needle right.. I cant remember. I set it up during delivery, and forgot about it.. I like the one with the needle indicator for the rpm. It just feels right. Other design not so much.

Did u set up a notification for service in the menu? That's a nice feature.. I dont have to put the ugly service sticker on the front mirror anymore.. 😂.

Although, i wish perodua would improve their infotainment though.. Having android auto or apple carplay would be nice..
*
Haha, I guess so. Probably will change the layout/design eventually when I get bored. Probably personal preference cos Designs 1 & 2 shows the message/settings area on the left side of the speedo.

Hmm, the notifications I didn't touch though for the service, always thought that would be done by the SC? Haha. Since now no manual service booklet. Will see if they do anything for the 1st inspection - as in will they set anything for the 6 months service interval.

Yea, although the HU is a slight upgrade than the Myvi, it still feels rather outdated knowing that Android Auto/Carplay connectivity isn't available. I've resorted to using a phone holder and Waze instead and leave the Bluetooth for calls only. Haha.

Driving repeated short distances, not very good.
Haven't tried fully finishing one tank but car shows 10.1km/l on average.
Not very good as in a far cry from official figures la.
*
Yes. This car drinks more fuel in short trips vs my previous Myvi G3. laugh.gif

Lost count how many times I refueled already cos I tend to top up 10-15L per visit since I'm mostly WFH now.

Hi guys, is it okay for me to remove the included dashcam from perodua and install my own dashcam?
*
Of course you can bro.

I also removed the stock DVR and installed the front + rear dashcam I bought for my previous car.

Didn't do it myself though so I got the company [Sicurez] to do so.

Thanks man, did it at Wrap360. Do check them out

Lovely wrap results bro.

Certainly an eye catching colour.

Mind sharing how long the whole process took? As in need to leave car for a day or 2 etc?

Hi guys, currently I have yet received my gear up utility kit (door visor, mat, rear tray) for a month after received my ativa av car, and the agent told me need to wait.

I'm curious whether is anyone facing the same issue where the gear up utility kit has limited stock from hq, and still good to wait further ? Waiting utility kit for a month is seem ridiculous for me, as I found alot of available stocks selling in Lazada. Lol.
*
Hmm, I also waited for around 1.5 months or so before I got my door visors and boot tray last week.

Anyhow, do follow up with your SA closely. Did the installation of wheel lock nuts and vibratile for all 4 doors too since I opted for that + door visors only.

Good to hear your kits have arrived late, but a least the kits reached with promise. Just managed to receive agent reply and can install kits and asking for the 1st service together.

Due to I wfh all the time during the mco period, I barely drive up to 200km within a month, and was thinking to delay my service later, would it void my warranty due if the car was not doing service on time although the mileage has yet reached ?
*
Earlier of 1,000km or 1 month for the 1st inspection.

When I sent my car in for inspection - I had only covered < 600KM as well as made the appointment around 3 weeks of receiving it, cos the weekend slots that I wanted were full when I checked on uFirst. Don't worry about the mileage. When I had my previous Myvi, I also covered less than the mileage due to the distance covered but it's not an issue.

Regardless, I would suggest you still book in the slot based on the timing and not the mileage to be on the safe side.

can we use the original wire for the front camera?
*
Hmm, this one I can't really comment cos I let the staff settle the wiring etc. If the current wiring fits your dashcam that you intend to use, then I don't see why not. I'm not too sure whether they have enough 'ports' anot since they might need the ports if you plan to have other things installed like the Gear Up scuff plates or DRLs later on.

For me, I'm only keen to have the dual dashcam + battery pack installed so I don't draw power from the car's battery when the car is not in use.

will not void warranty?
*
No idea. Even if void also, it should be for the electronics box.

I've done it for my Myvi as well. Safety first - having the front and rear dashcams are key.

I'd leave it to the dashcam company to settle all the wirings and hide them properly in the A/B pillars cos I'm not good at DIY.

Hi all,

I just realise the tyre pressure was pumped ( from factory ) higher than recommended pressure.

Anyone feel the same way too? Should I pump exact recommendedd pressure (240) ?
*
I usually pump around 38 psi for all 4 wheels since car is stationary most days due to WFH. Depends on personal preference I suppose. Some prefer to follow manufacturer's recommendations or some say higher PSI makes the car too stiff but for me and my rides, I tend to pump around 34-38 range.
