I think the miui on global rom still have a lot more issues that is already fixed on the china rom. Since global rom is still 12.0.2 while china rom already on 12.0.8 and already had their issues sorted because redmi k40 was released first. Hopefully miui eu (based on china rom + google services - ads) will be better than global

been use both.for me Blokada is awesome too. battery not much diff.
nowadays i lazy to root my phone. so Blokada os reliable non-root option for adblock.

ublock Origin. A plug in can use in Firefox and Brave browser for phones even tho brave got its own. Reason? Their developer and frens active in reddit find their channel if you see ads tell them/request help with link to site you see ads, they either give you custom filter or add to next filter updates

Yes that is the official vanced website, you have to download vanced manager first then install it like a normal apk. After that you have to go to the settings > developer options and scroll until bottom then turn off miui optimization (this will allow YouTube vanced & microG to be installed from the manager app). If miui optimization doesn't appear, you have to click "Reset to default values" a couple of time then it will appear. After that you can just go back to the manager app & install youtube vanced
*after turning off miui optimization you also need to set all of the permissions for all your apps again (location/gallery/camera/contacts)

Edit: I just realised I install into Brave browser Windows laptop not in any of my 3 working phones. So maybe it's not possible for Android. I don't remember if it's possible or not I need check 4th phone that one I spent a lot of time tinkering but its dead now can't check.

How do you set Vance as the default YouTube app to go to by links? I've set Vance as the default in manage apps, but it doesn't direct to it if I click a link in Chrome where it just goes to YouTube
