£47.50 for AppleCare is dirt cheap! It's not applicable to post graduate students is it?

@smashpOp,
Super big?! Not quite - it's about 500++MB but actual after installation is about well, 1GB - well, to be exact, 908.5MB @easypeasy, It should be legal - the transaction was made between u and seller, after which the product belongs to u. And when the products belong to u, u are free to do anything legal with it; and that can mean exchanging hands with someone else, whether in form of barter or cash This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Jan 31 2008, 11:43 PM |

@lilredridinghood,
Have U found the short-cut key to print preview? I find it a total hassle having to go into File - Print - Print Preview ... And not to mention, whatever happened to margins? We used to be able to adjust margins in the print preview - it's no longer possible? Or is it just my setup? |

@lilredridinghood,
You know in the past when Ur in print preview, U have this setting where U can set it to view margins and make adjustments of margins from that page? Well, it's not available anymore! I've just uninstalled the Student Teacher edition and am now using the Standard Edition - don't think there's much difference though *sigh* Need to figure something out on the print preview - it makes work v difficult |

@clngu,
That sure is a lot of budget for a laptop *grins* Anyhow, do U plan for it to be mobile? Also, do take into consideration the additional ACPP which might cost between RM899 and RM1299 depending on which system u decide to get. @almattitude_v1, Apple won't be where they are today if they don't keep researching and coming up with new products! It's a computer my friend, and one certainly can't expect it's product life cycle to be 5 years! |

@clngu,
If I'm not mistaken, when U compare the 3 (Fujitsu/Sony/Apple) the price is about the same, with Fujitsu giving u the least stuff *grins* Now that U've decided to get a Mac [U won't regret it! I had the same brand list as U when I was gonna replace my old ancient Fujitsu and somehow ended up with a MBP], ask urself if u've a preference over screen size. If u want at least a 15.4" U haf no other choice besides the MBP - take note of the weight and see if they meet ur requirement. As to ACPP - it's really for peace of mind and most of us here would recommend the additional investment to it. Also, all Fujitsu laptops now come with 3 year warranty. PS: U don't need to buy the ACPP immediately - just get it before the 1st year warranty is up |

HEY .. I thought I posted a reply to this thread !!
@seale_navy, Ah well, it's time to put ur selling skills into action - just try to convince her the pros of getting the Mac u want ... Also, we don't need big warehouses as service centres/areas because the system's stabil enough, unlike uhm... other brands |

@seale_navy,
From my experience with the folks, DESIGN and NICE doesn't quite sell as much as functionality and usability so make sure u have those too. A v good point u can make is that with an OSX U don't have to worry about virus attacks |
