recently noticed my gearbox delay a bit in the morning only, afternoon no delay.

Sent to tan chong, they told me need to change gear box.

but I have a service on tan chong , changed gear oil engine oil...

the next day no more delay ....

do I still need to change my gearbox ??

only change gear oil, didn't add in the treatment.

yup , he told me second hand gb is about 4k...

How long u guy change atf?

I trust the 40k and my car get gearbox delayed issue, after I changed the maintenance to 15k-20k, my gearbox back to normal

So I believe my experience than book

I m using Genuine ATF from Nissan, i dont see got 2 category for ATF

fyi,

last saturday morning noticed that my car had a heavy leaking of engine oil..

i bought a new engine oil and refill it , thought i can drive to my usual workshop to repair it.

but after refilled, noticed that the leaking was very serious like water pipes...

not dare to drive as worry will damage my engine and call a tow to the nearest nissan center..

after checking, they told me it was due to the oil pressure switch (RM80+)

replaced a new oil pressure switch + top up engine oil ( RM 150) +labour (RM 90 )...total about RM 300+

my car is about 8 years old, recomended you all to change it before it's broken ...

i just service my car few weeks ago, therefore, i'd already spend 3 x RM 150 for engine oil... the switch is only cost RM 80

From google/youtube seem many cars not only nissan have this issue. Online shopping also many people selling this bushing (specific brand/universal) RM10-30, can consider diy replace.

My question is whether these are really genuine / original? I was kind of expecting close to RM600 per set for original.

So many claiming OEM / OEM Japan bla bla, I believe for car spare parts OEM means 3rd party....right?

Tan Chong themselves are making parts....what do they actually sell if we are to bring into the service center? Forgive me but I bought my car 2nd hand and have not ever sent it back in. In any case I dont plan to.
