QUOTE(dwRK @ Oct 12 2024, 10:56 AM) nothing wrong... your past postings gave the impression it was a bank in sg or something... fintechs have had problems with ibkr in the past... even wise was not "accepted" for a long while... XAPO is not fintech la. It is a bank. Yes, I have bank accounts in SG but I didn't use it because expensive to pay for it as the fee type is on BEN, not OUR.

QUOTE(Medufsaid @ Oct 12 2024, 12:18 PM) SGD to moomoo sg use FAST. My experience is its instant I familiar with PayNow and it is not instantly. They claimed can't see my name and asked me to upload proof of receipt to show my name, bank account number etc. Then asked me to upload bank statement to prove such account number is under my name.

QUOTE(MystiqueLife @ Oct 9 2024, 10:04 PM) Can do this but not advisable. USD transfer to different bank institutions under your same name will be withheld 44+ working days due to FINRA policy. I tried with USD 10 and only managed to get it back two months++ later. Say you use Wise / Sunway Money or CIMB SG to deposit in, when you withdraw back to Wise should be no issue ?

syaaron if you deposited SGD, you cannot withdraw SGD back to Wise
u can try to withdraw USD back to wise (although, if you have CIMB sg already, why use a more expensive way to convert back to MYR?)

I deposit using RM. Been using IBKR for a year plus, prior CIMB SG i use alternatives, just wondering if i withdraw today will it have any holding
