Yeah, some websites showed that disabling ecores do improve gaming performance but only slightly although they didn't look at thermals when ecores were disabled.

As someone who uses Handbrake and Blender regularly, the e-cores haven't been useless at all.

To get better all core productivity on the AMD side you need to go up to the 7900X/7950X (expensive af). Intel's current overall best bang for buck champion in everything, the 13600KF, obliterates the whole AMD stack in all core productivity workloads other than those two AMD CPUs.

As a gamer, yes, i wish they'd stuff more P-cores, but 8, hell 6 (as seen in the 13600K beating the 12900K in gaming with 2 less P Cores), is still enough for games.
