Official specs out. Does this mean in 13400 and 13500 case you can only use 4800mhz ram?

Or can just go into bios and turn on xmp and set higher ram speed?

That's just official specs.

You can load the XMP in BIOS.

I'm interested to see how much the new ASRock b760m steel legend / sonic reskin version will cost here as it's the only b760m Mobo that would fit my use if I upgrade my platform.
*
Below RM 1,000.

Sonic model priced higher than Steel Legend.

Interesting. Will research more on switching off ecores whether it affects anything or not.
Not sure if it applies now, but when 12th gen was launched I did some test using Windows 10 and found it weird that my i5-12600K performs not as good as the lower end models.

I then disabled the E cores and the performance went up, result is then as expected.

Didn't FEEL this in i9-12900K probably because it already has a bunch of P cores, or for some reason the E cores didn't impact it that much. No idea.

Yeah, some websites showed that disabling ecores do improve gaming performance but only slightly although they didn't look at thermals when ecores were disabled.
In my case the difference was huge, not sure if it was Windows 10 issue or game issue.

I haven't face this with 13600K though, it was only 12600K time which was about 10 months ago.

As someone who uses Handbrake and Blender regularly, the e-cores haven't been useless at all.

To get better all core productivity on the AMD side you need to go up to the 7900X/7950X (expensive af). Intel's current overall best bang for buck champion in everything, the 13600KF, obliterates the whole AMD stack in all core productivity workloads other than those two AMD CPUs.

As a gamer, yes, i wish they'd stuff more P-cores, but 8, hell 6 (as seen in the 13600K beating the 12900K in gaming with 2 less P Cores), is still enough for games.

Saw this late, but yes!

My Core i5 13600K (6p/4e/20t) is able to match my Ryzen 9 5900X (12c/24t), and the 13600K costs less and has IGP for Intel QSV which is very handy for productivity.

gg on 9000x3d prices later

and wonder if amd will fix and properly release 9900x3d and 9950x3d too, because 7800x3d was the best gaming cpu but it is horrible for productivity.
*
I won't say horrible la, price to performance compared to 7700X for example it's just slightly behind.

Also I won't say it's the best gaming CPU but definitely it's best at pushing FPS and also disrupting AMD's own sales of many models.

Too bad Intel fans have been conditioned to think; "more power, more FPS!" so when Intel pull back both, fans cannot accept their losing to AM5.
*
Pushing FPS at low resolution, lose out by far.

Pushing FPS at high resolution (4K) range, the 245K is actually pretty darn good. Can't say the same for the 285K.

Multi-core workload, I'm quite surprised at what the 245K can deliver.
