As expected, Intel handles idle better. Even with handicap from RGB devices.

5 apps (Winamp, Whatsapp, Battle.net, Steam, Microsoft Edge with 5 tabs) Idle power test
Ryzen 9 5900X without RGB stuffs connected - 120-150W
Core i9-12900K with RGB stuffs connected and powered off - 70-110W

DDR4-4000 16-16-16-32 got even more performance.

FF14 Endwalker benchmark is extremely sensitive to RAM speed. DDR5 might give more.

FF14 very sensitive to RAM speed and timings too. Unless 5800X3D can do 1:1 on all chips with FCLK 2000 or 2100.

Get 360mm AIO ITX case!

My plan is move my Z690-A D4 to other rig and get better Z690 or Z790 on main rig for DDR5. Waiting DDR5 maturity and 32GBx2 DDR5-6400 C28 minimum.

Case is not an issue. I can even survive with Phanteks Eclipse P200A. Motherboard is a problem. Asus ROG Strix Z690-I price makes my eyes bleed. Asrock Z690M-ITX/ax looks like crap. Waiting on more models.
