Hi All,
Just to review, I bought INTEL NUC 6CAYS: RM1,080 + 2x4GB RAM Modules from MIKA. Items arrived nicely packed and as expected with one exception. MIKA had removed the original 2GB RAM module that is included and installed the 2x4GB RAM module without me asking to do so, also failed to include the 2GB original RAM included by INTEL in the box. When I brought this up with him, he pointed out that he gave me an "Upgrade RAM Price" Which was RM20 cheaper per stick of 4GB RAM than what it says on the front page which is true, not doubting this and I am fine with it as well. This was however never communicated with me nor I was made aware of such arrangements. He just did it sneakily hoping customers wont notice perhaps? And this was basically the bane of my disappointment with the service. When I have tried to reason with him as to just give a warning to future customers so the customers are informed and have a choice if they wanted this option, he became hostile and basically told me to not be so cheap and fork out the discounted money + POSTAGE if I wanted the 2GB RAM back which to be honest I didnt ask for, I just asked just a note for future customers so they are well informed. Will I buy stuff from this dude again with this kind of attitude? Hmm Doubt so! Even a small misunderstanding like this he has made a big fuss, I doubt in the future if there are any issues with the item, how would he have reacted? probably wash his hands out of all wrong doing? I might be wrong and caught MIKA on a bad day hence why I received this reaction, but just a heads up to all potential buyers of his special "UPGRADE" Process This post has been edited by HarvinDhillon: Feb 15 2017, 09:06 AM |

I might be wrong and caught MIKA on a bad day hence why I received this reaction, but just a heads up to all potential buyers of his special "UPGRADE" Process We already done our best for the item that you ordered but you are the first one that i encounter problem for your perfection: - Item are delivered around 1 working day after payment received (Proof: http://track.aftership.com/gdex/4711162201) - Item are well packed & delivered. (As mentioned by the buyer) - Tax Invoice are provided to make sure you're able to claim Income Tax deduction, GST Claim and also direct Intel Warranty covered. (Not as buyer false accused of after sales problems or sneaky around) - You can also check with our Company Details at SSM that we are more than 20 Years established company and not those that are doing business for temporary or sneaky around. - Item are fully tested and installed to make sure no dispute on the working condition of the item. But buyer are making the fuss that he wanted to install and test by himself. This can always be done by the buyer itself by uninstall and reinstall whenever he liked since it's 100% tested and in good working condition at the very first place. Note that the item are also FRESH new model with manufacture dated 22nd January 2017. There will be surely more dispute if the item are are not tested and buyer are having problem installing it with the newly launched NEW model NUC. If don't understand the term or "Add-On" and "Upgrade", you may ask us since the term is commonly used by those selling Computer & Notebook. You can always go to any Retail Computer Shop to ask for Quotation on the different on Add-On RAM comparing with Upgrade RAM on new notebook/pc purchase. We already clearly stated the price as UPGRADE. It's totally no common sense that buyer going to use 3pcs of RAM into 2 slot of RAM PC and we also already advised customer to study the specification at Intel Website even we clearly listed the specification at the thread. We already updated the term to prevent similar customer having the same problem as you.
Customer are mostly getting lower price for Upgrade compare to Add-On. Note: Starting from 15th February 2017, we no more providing the following extra free services due to there is only 1 buyer "HarvinDhillon" complaining that we shouldn't do so. The extra times and works taken is to make sure your items are in 100% good working condition by certified Intel Gold Partner with our experienced engineer. Comparing to self installation by some none experienced buyer that may cause problems during installation or damages due to carelessness or anxiety as Mini PC components are very tiny and fragile.

You assume everyone who is buying the ram is for Upgrade, could have easily been for something else. Next time don't assume, ask permission from the person you are selling the goods too. The salespersons at lowyat do that! Anyhow good luck with your sales And thanks for at least taking up my suggestion of informing customers. FREE Courier West Malaysia We no carry Gigabyte Mini PC at the moment. You may consider Intel NUC which is better on customization and also in performance as putting in a SSD has great performance rather then HDD on ASUS VivoMini.
