Just buy one of those Bosch C chargers from Shopee and make a habit of charging your car battery every 2-3 months or so. Last time my batt lasted like 5 years+ with this habit, eventually died when covid lockdown sets in 2020 (and I was also hospitalized due to dengue, so a month+ no one even starts the car).

Its usually just $200+

Are you sure that brand does not matter. Are you saying that a shoplot produced battery is the same quality compared to factory produced battery, just because they both have the same or correct battery size for the car ?

Why factory so stupid produce so many models with various different spec, although they are the same correct battery size for car ?

Been using Amaron.

Dec 2019 until now. Thanks to 2 times MCO year 2020 & 2021.

But this month need to change liao I think. Last month went to check at battery shop the meter under weak.

Might last for another 3 weeks.

Any recommended car battery? Because the guy said Amaron no good already. Mine is first batch that's why can last long.

Price range also increase. Average RM 250.

Don't believe so much when people say Amaron no good already or that battery very good or this battery very bad. Especially seller. They only sell those giving high profit margin to them (seller). When profit margin drop for certain brand the seller will stop selling and start saying the battery got problem no good. Do your own research better.

Camel user here, installed on June 2019 until now still survive. Done with battery charger once a month with Foxsur battery charger bought it during PKP

That's why I say don't believe so much the seller..some even say your size is wrong actually they don't have stocks for the size U requested. So they push some other higher spec to U (normally higher profit for them). Don't push too high spec or out of size battery....no good for your alternator in long run. Just put the normal size battery when the car manufacturer gave to U.

Heard Amaron was good when come with Johnson Controls last time. Then not anymore under Amara Raja

Amaron all the while is Amara Raja. Just JV with Johnson controls. Can google around. Nothing can be lied to people nowadays. We have google.

I'm using FB battery now. 2nd biji now as the 1st die when under warranty. Driving for 20years 1st time got 1 to 1 replacement battery.

The shop also very good give free checking and service and add water if battery water dry up.

My 1st amaron experience isn't good. Battery die 2week after warranty expired

Mine was installed on Jun 2021, till now still working fine, which is like 2 years and 4 months. On my daily driven diesel car.

Ford original factory installed car battery lasted for close to 3 years plus, while Peugeot lasted close to 5 years. Subsequent battery replacement using outside branded brand max also can get 2 years only.
