Good effort. Maybe you need to spend more time on post processing. smile.gif

new? your shots are nice. it's just that you shouldn't be rushing to snap IMO.

take for example the drummer shot, it'll be better if can see his face. generally your shots are quite under-exposed BUT the compositions i like.

thanks for the advice bro, what's a CPL filet and roughly how much would it cost?

i just resize and sharpen once that's it.

you may also do a bit of color adjustment, brightness and constrast IF there is a need. i rarely do that these days, most of my shots come out ok already as it is. smile.gif

Hello there,

From what I can see from your EXIF.. I can tell that you probably have two lenses... I'm assuming
1st) Sony/ Minolta 50mm F1.4 ? (If minolta, is it the RS vers.)?
2nd) Kit Lens ?

I really like some of your pics... just alil underexpose, that's all.... it's usual to have pics that are "cool" from Sony Alpha a100, so dont mind it, alil touch up will fix it all up...

If you're interested in a telephoto lens, pls do let me know.. I will be letting my Minolta 75-300 (Silver vers.) away, as I've purchased a better one...

Here's my a100 gallery: http://www.flickr.com/photos/darren_pang/

I'm using mostly the Minolta 28-75 @ F2.8... except a few only... Have fun.... P.S My zoo pics are shot with that 75-300.... and do use flickr too, it's really better to comment in there... just easier

artzmaniac: (Hmm cannot quote your entry.) Strangely, I think the shot works. The light becomes the subject, pointing at the singer. Though I would crop off the monitor and the band member at the bottom of the picture.

Added on September 23, 2007, 4:23 amWow, I can feel the sunny-ness of Australia from the shots already.
