#1: DOF not enough, Image not sharp, underexposed
#2: Compo and Angle not good. No subject of interest, slight underexposure
#3: no subject of interest
#4: compo not good. Too much sky. not sharp, landscapes, F8 and above
#5: angle not good, compo not good, not sharp
#6: no subject of interest
#7: what the...
#8: nice try, subject not sharp.

thanks thanks! will work on what you've mentioned, always find it kinda hard to take sharp shots dunno why, may look sharp, but when come out, slightly blur >.<

hm..the first batch of photos...qutie a number of them OOF...think the DOF not wide enough... and the landscape...the building not sharp... work on the DOF lor...hehe... after commenting on your pic i saw the last pic..it was pork mee and i thought of poke me...lolz...

lol, thanks for your feedback bro, jsut got my Sony Alpha about 5 days back, and now learning all about DSLR, really interesting, especially the colours drool.gif

for me...
the landscape and the food shot works...
maybe i like doing food photog...
the rest...well...ok la...some slightly underexposed...
practice to capture a subject of interest....
i suffered this problem oso...cannot find subject of interest...
hahahaha...well we r all learning ya?

bout the OOF and DOF...keep ur hands steady...and try using shutter and aperture priority...master the two...ull have fun with dslr...

thanks bro, still have a lot of reading to do and understanding between aperture and shutter speed and all, but yeah hope to take some real nice pics soon! here's some i would like to share with you guys, she's definitely a subject of interest! rclxms.gif

the first pic of the base jumping, very good compo.. perfectly exposed

2nd : good compo, sharp, good exposure on the model's face but the background is all blown out, need to use a cpl filter.

3rd : not so good compo.
4th : quite good.

5th batch of photos :
i only find the pic of your ipod nice, good compo and lighting.

the playing with lights one, i find it a little too messy.. just to share, here is my pic of light graffiti.
