Although it is 25W, but it can beat most of the Chinese phones which have 50W charging rate and below in charging speed. If you say those 65W, 120W fast charge, then they are much more faster.
*
Why tho? Different charging technology?

Jz ordered my Ultra 512gb  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif first time ever migrating out of my comfort zone as a hardcore iphone fan. kinda nervous   sweat.gif  sweat.gif
Has been Iphone fan since iphone 4

was waiting Samsung to change Exynos but i guess now 2100 should be the answer to Snapdragon.

For the part of price down and so on and so forth .... it will be trend - rember we buy phone not for resale value but we really love it and enjoy using it.. new model will be out less than a year...

charger? i had unused iphone chargers and 6 other 3rd party chargers sitting at home coz i used wireless charging 99% of the time.. y i need to care if thy no longer provide - ultimately nobody will care...in a year or 2
Micro SD- we iphone users already used to it from the beginning...

Conclusion : migrating from iphone to samsung android - samsung features is overkill compared to iphone especially camera dept. reliability : will hav to see. tongue.gif

You can just look at GSMarena’s phone review, they started stating the (actual) charging speed in their reviews since last year.
https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_10t_pro-review-2177p3.php

I do agree Samsung’s 25W charging is competitive for what 25W charging can go. But it’s capability is kind of inconsistent, where S20Ultra can match those of Chinese manufacturers of 30+ wattage fast charging, but not so much for 20FE and Note20.
https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s20_f...view-2178p3.php

And because of that (adoption of PPS instead of normal PD), it’s picky on 3rd party charger. Most of the 3rd party charger out there don’t have PPS support.

Again, as state in my previous post. The compromise of faster charging is likely faster battery degrading too (heat factor). So except for a clear cut advantage like that of Xiaomi 120W or Oppo 65W VOOC which can further shorten the full charge time and have incredibly short half charge time, the general market standard of >50% in 30minutes and fully charge slightly over 1 hour will be the sweet spot and acceptable “compromise” for most people.

Any examples of 3rd party chargers that support PPS?

Faster charging is not that useful in hot country like Malaysia as even the manufacturer says 100 W, the phone will only charge at lower wattage. Lithium based battery is not meant to be fast charge due to heat generation and heat will degrade battery cell, hence, less suitable unless we are talking about Graphene battery which is very efficient and generate less heat for ultra fast speed changing. 😁
*
Hopefully we'll see Graphene battery soon, perhaps even in S22 next year.

Not only less heat and faster charging, it can also hold more charge than current battery technologies.

Pixel phones have this feature. It's called Adaptive Charging where you can charge the phone overnight and it will slowly charge and fully complete until your set alarm (ex 8AM).
*
Is there any 3rd party app that can bring this feature to our phones?

I have searched for S20 SD version up and down. So difficult to find a new one. Most of them are used phones.

As for S20fe, you will have 50-50 chance to get one that may have touch screen issue.
haiya. not much choices left for us ........
*
Actually no need to be so afraid of getting a problematic S20 FE. Test the screen once received it, if got problem, claim for warranty lo.

My unit (S20 FE 5G) was one of the lucky ones, no touch screen issues at all.

Can someone pull the latest list of bloatware from the new phone please?...
*
The phone is still on pre-order phase, so we're still not sure about the full list of bloatware. However, you can check with older flagships (S20s) running Android 11.

Usually the bloatwares are Samsung apps and Microsoft apps, which can't be uninstalled without root.

Wifi6E is a cool new addition though.

As for me, I don't care about WiFi 6E, because the stock UniFi modem I have at home doesn't even have WiFi 6.

Now that ARM X1 proved to overheat, would people still blame Samsung for their mongoose cores problem? LOL..
*
So, the problem is with these ultra high performance cores that cause overheating. Instead of changing cores, how about improving the cooling system for the phone?

Ok. This is looking good guys! Battery test from Russia. S21 series are Using Exynos 2100, while S20 series are using Exynos990. All phones are tested in 120hz display.

S21+ battery life is 2 hours longer than S20+!  This one alone already convincing enough for to me to switch!

*
Interesting to see that S21+ has longer battery life than S21 Ultra, they both use the same chip isn't it?

S21 Ultra LTPO (10-120Hz) is more efficient than S21+ (48-120Hz) some more.

Maybe due to slightly bigger battery
If not mistaken S21 Ultra can run 10hz? reso when in power saving mode/depending on app

I meant S21 Ultra Vs S21+.

5000mAh > 4800 mAh

But battery life
S21U < S21+

S21 definitely have to go for ultra! Once you tasted 2k, hard to go bk.
*
2k and 1080 not too much difference on such a small screen, however if need to go back to 60Hz from 120Hz is definitely noticeable (eg. switch to iPong 12 series).

if want bang for buck actuallythese phone can last 5 years+...the problem is us consumers...too intrigued to get latest phone with newest specs although the function is still the same...my dad used a note 5 and my mom using a8...both are still running till 5 years...but this year both of them will change...my mom got a a71 and dad got 21 ultra but will later trade in with note21(hoping for it to come out) as he wants the pen function
*
Same here bro. My dad is still running A9 Pro from 2016, and the battery still going strong (5000mAh used to get 2 days, now almost 1 day), while my mum switched to S20 FE from Note 5 recently. Since S21 is not too interesting, may even get another S20 FE for dad.
