Have been playing Anno 1800 a lot and i realised that it uses up to 14GB ~15GB RAM right now.
Should I upgrade to 32GB? And yes my PC can support more than 64GB RAM.

32GB is the new 16GB in 2021. Depends what other tasks you do with your PC while gaming too.

For gaming, 16gb should be enough
Ram won't affect the gaming performance (or maybe tiny effect on it only, you won't feel the significant change too even you change to 32 or 64gb)

if you play alot of Anno 1800 or its variants of SIM games, then you will need alot of RAM because those game tends to use up alot of RAM.

even if you upgrade to 32GB of RAM, it will use up to 28GB-30GB of RAM too

the more buildings and people in your town, the more RAM it consumes.

They will need more CPU usage instead of ram

Well, even if it uses close to the max, is the game running fine?
Coz I thought games tend to use up to the max available that they can use. Means, the more background processes that stay on RAM, the game will use less and less.
So, if the game is running fine, imho you don't really need to upgrade (yet)

32GB is the norm for now, especially for Gaming PC. Suggest upgrade to 32GB.

My CPU only uses about 46~50^% while playing according to MSIBurner. GPU as well around 50%
Only thing that i notice is the RAM usage. Am using Ryzen 5 2600, RTX2060.

Its typical OS to manage the ram and populate most of it. If you have 4GB, then about 1GB be idle, if 16GB most of it be used as well.

how about
1) Upgrading RAM (go for 16x2 if mobo support)
2) setting bios to push 3200MHz RAM clock (if Mobo support)

Perhaps you can try to upgrade, but I know anno 1800 like to utilize the ram as reserve, thus you will see almost 100% of ram utilization
This could be some kind of bug in the game, and they still never fix it yet

Without having played Anno 1800 do note that 50% CPU utilization does not necessarily mean there is not CPU bottleneck. If the game only utilizes 6 of your 12 threads ... 50% in the task manager could mean you're being CPU limited.

Same goes for the RAM, reserved doesn't have to mean its utilized.

Do check some benchmark results to find out if more ram is really going to help your fps and or frame times.

Why 3200mhz only?
My RAM is running more than that I think.

This...!!!

So really, your benchmark should be how well the game is running, not how much RAM, or CPU usage... Chasing bottlenecks when the game is already running at (for example) 126 fps is not really worth it. You declogg one, it will just shift to another, and so on and so forth.

60FPS only. So if my game is running ok, i shouldn't be bothered?

IMHO, you shouldn't upgrade. It's not reason enough. And besides, I have a feeling that upgrading RAM will not get you sufficient gain in fps. RAM is usually not the main cause of low fps.

If can reach 50-60 fps is good enough.
