Without Baily, United can't push forward more with either Shaw and Wan Bissaka reserved to stay at the back.
The option for Pogba or Bruno to pass is limited |

Why Ole can't see Tuanzebe really good, yes he did 1 or 2 mistakes but the partnership with Maguire that makes United looks defensively really strong and better attacking
While VDB proves he is a great player that of course, Ole won't see that VDB made the game much easier just like partnership Maguire with fast and pace players ie Baily or Tuanzebe I bet Maguire and Lindelof partnership on Burnley game. And the gap between defender and midfield will be wider, hollow in the middle and no high press football |

Hope Ole able to see that Bailly saving us so many times.
His quick decision covering Maguire mistakes so many times that make United defensive solid Against Liverpool, Ole needs to stick with Wan Bissaka, Bailly, Maigure and Shaw |

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Jan 13 2021, 08:38 AM) Really worried it will be a borefest if ole choose to play 3 CB bailly-maguire-lindelof and pair it with fred-mctominay. Think counter attack is the best chance we have at scoring but with our strikers not on form we will be looking at bruno. Sadly, teams already know to man mark bruno kao kao to eliminate his threat. I dont see us winning Liverpool tbh but who knows. Yup true,For me, our best chance of winning the league is securing draws over top teams and win the rest of the small teams then hoping Liverpool will go on a bad run of form The only thing that United can do if Bruno not perform well or mark by the opponent others should step up. Last night Pogba did a great job so does with our defender ie Bailly and Luke Shaw If Fred and Mc Tom start for liverpool then United will play counter attack since Mc Tom can't deliver or bring the ball forward either Mc Tom is that kind of player or Ole told to do so VDB can make the attacking more organise but Ole not trust him Hope our strikers can step up the game and fully utilise any chances that they get |

QUOTE(zhou.xingxing @ Jan 13 2021, 02:06 PM) if no maguire, then no so much mistakes liao... Maguire is undroppable he is the captain, he is anchor, he is the pioneer for United defender on Ole perspectivehope rashford got wear shooting boot that day.. he tend to score vs big teams.. no matter how shit or poor his decision is prior... One of the reasons United paid so much for him 80million even last night Rashford not score and play quite reserved but he creates the chances, maybe he wants to save his legs against liverpool |

It is laughable Lpool's Klopp spoke about the penalty as they always get a soft penalty.
Fair play for Klopp for mind games but Ole is brilliant he does not react about it. And the most important thing he told that not his place to say about the decision of the referees While Klopp begging to get a soft penalty and I do believe Salah, Ferminho will dive in the penalty box |

The more we sit deep the more lpool create chances. Mc sauce with 90 successful passing rate is because side passing n back passing no forward

Nerve half. Hope Rashford check the line before making the run. James seems useful for this kind of game

Lpool are lucky to get a draw that 2 brilliant saves by Allison
Overall United grew confidence but our strikers need to learn less selfish and more teamwork. If Rashford passes the ball to Cavani it made all the game different. |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Jan 18 2021, 11:58 PM) Good pick out. Glad someone noticed it too. Mc Tom is a decent player, he is work hard, discipline and got physical attribute. McT is more of a box to box midfielder, who is strong going forward. He played as a center forward in his youth days, before the coach moved him to center midfield. He is disciplined, which is why he is being used at CDM because he's not one to bomb forward thinking he knows better. But he is not a CDM, that is why he doesn't look good alongside Fred when he is instructed to sit. First half, like many times this season, his instructions were to sit and never venture forward. He never once ventured beyond Bruno's midfield position. He looks better when he is given the freedom to venture forward. The last game I can remember him doing so was at Leeds, which caught me by surprised. Must've caught Leeds by surprise too with those two quick goals. You can see the difference in that game, he kept venturing forward and overlapping Bruno as the advanced midfielder. It is easy to see if McT is instructed to sit, see if he ever overlaps the advanced midfielder's position. If he never does, he's been told to sit. He can do the job but it makes him look like half the player he is, because he does not display his strength. It is like if Frank Lampard during his playing days was told to sit in deep midfield and never make forward runs. He can do it, but he's mediocre there and takes away his strength. Ole at times needs a double pivot for defensive strength. That's not a bad thing. That's just tactics. Fred is one spot. The other natural fit is Matic, but at his age there is no energy. Ole doesn't trust Pogba in the double pivot and we can see why. So McT plays the role. In his natural position, McT is closer to Pogba. Minus the creative passing range, but much more disciplined. For the whole 38 matches, Mc Tom can play but I don't convince against 6 big teams that need a fine line or being an intrusive decision that made the whole different He does not dare to move forward most of 90 minutes that made us lack of attacking option. Bruno need to step back to receive the ball and bring the ball forward If Pogba play at his position he could deliver the ball forward with his strength long passes that kind find Martial, Rashford, Cavani or even James if Ole decide to play more defensive |

QUOTE(Broadings @ Jan 20 2021, 04:05 PM) I dont know what is the hype on Rashford. If you judge a single game for the whole as your conclusion about Rashford then you are unfair I know some (if not most) will disagree with me, I really feel he is very selfish on the pitch. I dont want to comment his off the pitch personality. Yes that game is one of the most important or the most important that he made fool decision but you need to look at the contribution of his other games as well He is the one who crosses the ball to Pogba against Southampton that 3 vital points for United, he scored vital goals against other teams that we won 9 games 2 draws So it is biased to blame him for a single game but he needs to learn not to do the same mistake ever again |

Someone said that Bruno cant turn up against top 4 teams can sit down! "The penalty" from Bruno is a world-class finish
The way counter-attack from Rashford-Greenwood is madness. It resembles of Ronaldo Rooney partnership 2008-2009 Yes current United is not a par with 2008-2009 but with right 3 signings United 2021 could close the gap United 2008 This post has been edited by Azury36: Jan 25 2021, 04:06 AM |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Jan 26 2021, 04:56 PM) first season (19/20) - Buy Maguire 80mil, AWB 45mil, James 15mil, Bruno 50mil, sold Lukaku 74mil. Net spend 116mil Now on January transfer, Lingard and Rojo will move out. So we actually getting more spaces and savings for summer transfer next season Second season (20/21) - Buy VDB 40mil, Telles 14mil, Diallo 19mil, Pellistri 8mil, Sold Smalling 14mil. Net spend 67mil So did Ole spend so much as Lampard? I do believe any decent managers able to bring Chelsea in a better position just that Lampard is lack of exp and also big spending from Lampard that give him more pressure |
