If you store extra copies elsewhere, then it's fine,
SSD drive has limited write cycle, badly configured, dram-less, tlc, small capacity will reduce the endurance.
I've seen too much people in tech support asking for data recovery. Cloud service and external hard drives are much more cheaper than data recovery, most people don't bother until thier drives cannot be accessed.
basically if you get decent ssd's and get one with high endurance, you're kinda safe to go yea? I have encountered this in the past where I had BSOD on my plextor SSD (made in 2013) and upon reboot, some system files were permanently missing and this was one of the downside of SSD's back then. Are they still the same to this day with modern SSD's?

SSD is much more reliable than HDD but you still shouldn't store your important data in just 1 place. Should always have backup
yup it goes without saying having multiple backup is good, and cloud backup is real handy and actually cheap if you only store key important files
