Hey guys, what is the current most bang-for-buck SATA SSD you'd recommend getting? Cant go for m.2 due to using old motherboard.

May I know the reason Samsung 860 Evo is only recommended up to 500GB?

Thought of getting the 1TB version at around RM600 before reading about this.

I see. Thanks!

Not sure about the price before this, but current price for the 500 GB is around RM300, 1TB = RM600, which I would say is pretty fair isn't it? tongue.gif

RM689 at the time of writing.

Crucial MX500 1TB at RM465 with no effort of checking for cheaper ones.

The MX500 does seems like a really good buy here.

Just thought would the samsung have better reliability, performance & brand image?
Seeing that you have 2 MX500 1TB, would you care to share your experience with them thus far? biggrin.gif

Would you guys recommend samsung 870 evo over 860 evo? Is the extra $ justified to have the 870?
