M.2 PCIE 4.0:
Only WD Black SN850 1TB at RM1149 promo price.

M.2 PCIE:
PNY CS3030
Transcend MTE220S
Corsair MP510

M.2 SATA or regular SATA:
Crucial MX500
Kingston KC600
Samsung 860 Evo (only up to 500GB)

How about the Corsair MP600 2TB or Samsung 980 Pro 2TB for PCIE 4.0? Will be used as my boot drive and won't be upgrading my PC for the next 8-10 years or so

Thanks, not in a hurry yet since I want to purchase the SSD together with a new CPU, Motherboard, RAM and GPU smile.gif

I noticed the Samsung 980 Pro 1TB at RM1.2k at shopee:

https://shopee.com.my/-SAMSUNG-980-PRO-PCIe...7182.6565882292

Would this be a better buy than the WD SN850?

Would a Gen 5.0 M2 SSD actually offer any practical improvement over a Gen 4.0 SSD? Not in benchmarks but like responsiveness when clicking programs, noticeable faster loading times, etc

This is coming from someone still using the Samsung 840 Pro 120GB SATA SSD lol (My PC is 11 years old)
