dude, if u r taking the rm85 package wif own equipment then is rm75, same to rm125 package is rm115 wif own equipment....

u r wrong about nobody play speedball at tanamera, visitors mostly would finish up their pellets at the speedball field n 2 raskal teams are training at the speedball field as well....

if u're not prefer playin speedball, there're still a lot of scenario games that u could play....
but according to a pod of 140-150 rounds, u hav 1k pellets which could fill a loader wif 5-6pods, let say each game u minimum play 1 loader n 1 pod, about 3-5games u're probably finished up ur 1k pellets, n u're using ur droid also...I excluded the factor tat some pellets dropped on the floor during the filling of pellets tongue.gif

the one going into woods with speedball jersey is same as u carrying ur droid to play recball, there's nothing different about equipment used, players could bring n wear watever they hav wif them to hav fun, as long as v stick wit the safety issue....
no everyone having enuff cash to get a set of speedball equipment n another set of recball equipment, some might play recball as casual game like me laugh.gif

anyways, u could bring back n keep ur pellets left for another game at tanamera within a month time...

Yeah, people play speedball to finish their paint. They're not up to a proper game, just to burn whatever they have. If you want to find proper opponents, you have to wait for Dogg or Dean, or a team. Newbie bashing is frowned upon.

Also, the guy was referring to the 1k package. Not the 500. If he brought his own gear and asked for 1k pellets, it'd still be 115.

Yeah, great. 1 loader and 1 pod. Firing at what? You can spend half an hour just searching for people and never find them. If you never see them, you never get to shoot anything. At the 1st Year anniversary, my friend ended up being paired with a "sniper" and spent 1 game doing nothing because they couldn't find anybody.

And there is a difference in equipment used. A droid will let you burn through paint much faster. You don't have to, but it lets you put down a lot more fire when you need to. Even at that rate of consumption when you EVENTUALLY find a firefight to take part in, it still doesn't finish your paint.

Maybe you don't get what I'm saying. I said, if you dress up with BRIGHT NEON COLOURED CLOTHES, you're ASKING to get shot. Shooting at nothing is also asking to get shot at. Draw unnecessary attention and have a swarm of them bearing down on you.

Tanamera is once every 2 months for us. Every Sunday it's astaka and Tanamera is too far out to keep going to.

legal if you have a firearm licenses. but then, its somewhat of a grey area. Paintball is very well known these days. Some might say that its a form of fire arm, some might not. if you're really keen on owning an X7, you can buy one at any of the pro shops we have. just try not to rob a bank with it or flaunt it in front of a police officer.

technically, under malaysian firearm law, which categorise firearm as something with a trigger mechanism and shoots projectile out thru a barrel... hence sad to say so, paintball markers are considered firearms.

Owning a speedball marker might get u into less problem than an X7, say if both markers were to be stopped during a roadblock.

and if the police really wanna kacau, the x7 will get it even faster..

Easy way to get past it without giving "kopi money" is to become a registered tournament player or register at Tanamera or something that provides you with an ID tag that shows you are a paintball player. It costs ~RM30 for a card, but you can just keep it in your car and that will help in explaining.

problem here is, eventhough u can have multiplecopies of id tag, membercard, it does not work like a firearm license. so it's still up to that officer's decision to make your life troublesome or not. my advice, don't kepp your marker in car.. always head straight back home after a game.

yea, bro exkay is rite.
marker is not as ur futbal cleats that u can keep in ur car all the time and take out and wear when u go for a game.
be smart and avoid troubles, u can't nego and argue wif them no matter how if the officer wanna mess wif u. personally I rather meet a thief or robber instead of a police officer in m'sia. they're licensed shark!

Hi! This my first time playing paintball & I need some guide from expert.
-Between the 4 places, which offer better enjoyable eviroment? Xtion Painabll Park, Putra Paintball Park, Bangi Paintball or Extreme Park @ Sunway.
-Beside the 4 places, any other places I should check out near UPM? (I & my friends live near UPM.)
-For new comer, does 100 bullt of paintball enough for 1 section of game?
-How long does the game last?

1. Well, i've been a customers for Xtion for at least 5 years so I would be buyers to judge. and i haven't been to all the other places listed.. so if u ask me. xtion is not a bad choice.

2. It's solely up to u to check or not to. smile.gif

3. well, depend on how trigger happy you are.. I've seen people using less than 50 bullets in a game, and of course I've seen people using more than 200 bullets a game. It all boil down to what are your game style and strategies.

4. Speedball generally last 5 minutes a game, Recreational games is usually 5 minutes, Xball lite in Malaysia last for 10 minutes with max of 5 sets, Woodsball / Jungle Balls may last from hours to a full day. It all depends on what game format are u playing.
