we usually play in Xtion paintball weekly. which is located in Bukit Jalil.




Price wise, since you guys are going to be playing often, i would suggest you to take up the membership since it gives more discounts.

price matrix as below.

For Members
Membership Fee = RM40
Starter pack ( which include your gun and mask and air ) = RM 20
Pellets ( to be shared among members only ) = RM 280 for a box of Proto Paintballs ( tournament grade )

so lets say you're going with a group of 10 frens, price for each person will be as below for the first time.

RM40 + RM 20 + RM (280 / 10 ) = RM 88

second time onwards,
RM20 + RM ( 280 /10 ) = RM 48

no worries about full with ppl practising.. as most of the time we'll be utilising the tournament field, and there's a scenario field for scenario players. unless you're interested in tourney field, then us seasoned players will give way and let you guys try it out too.

when u mingle a lot with experienced player, your games improves.

it all depends to which type of game are u playing. If you're playing tournament style, then yes once you're hit ( any part of the body or anything that you're holding, such as your marker ) , you're out of the game till the next round starts.

as for Scenario style, it depends, some center enforce a looser rule such as only hits at body parts counts. and for the life, usually in scenario game, you'll just need to go back to the starting gate, wipe yourself clean and get back in to the game. ( unlimited life )

of cuz 200 vs 200 is not in xtion lar.. xtion scenario field can easily fit in 20 vs 20 or maybe more...

I would rather say, Division 1 players.. or advance amatuer...

well, it depends on yourself which division you want to join. usually ppl start at Div 3, then move up to Div 2 or 1 when you're more prepared mentally and financially.

as for me, i might be moving up Div 1 next year. but it all depends to my boss whether will i be placed in Div 1 or Div 2.

once you're up in say div 2, it's not easy to get drop back to Div 3, or from Div 1 dropping back to Div 2.. u know lar.. ppl might say harsh things.

criteria? not really. if u have the balls, u can skip Div 3 and 2 and go straight to Div 1.

rules wise, Div 1 and 2 play with Ramping ( marker shot in burst mode ) whereelse div 3 play with semi auto ( one pull on the trigger ,. one shot )

other than that.. i dun see any differences.

basically all marker breech can fit all pellet sizes , it's just that the Barrel's bore that might not be able to fit all the sizes.

Pellet comes in few sizes, 0.688 , 0.689, 0.692 , so does the barrel bore.

hence if you're using a barrel with 0.692 bore size, you practically can shoot every type of pellets. However, when the ball-to-bore size doesn't match, pellets tend not to travel in the straight line when it leaves the barrel due to the uneven movement while travelling in the bore.


using a barrel with 0.688 means you can only use pellets that fits it. if not, ball break will occur in the barrel and you'll have great time cleaning the barrel during the game.

usually in a barrel, pellets gain speed in the first 8inch of the barrel. the remaining few inches are there to guide the pellets to the direction that it's suppose to go ( pellets tend to float in the barrel after the first 8 inch. )

i wont say all will do the same thing. but some players does invest in Barrel Kits which have all 3 bore size to suit the paint they use.

pardon me, but is there any difference when using CO2 or Compress Air (CA) ? i mean, why ball to bore is so critical for CA users and not Co2 users?

well, i wasn't trying to argue about using HPA or Co2 lar..
i was just curious that why do u say this sentence


cause to me, it's important or critical for both HPA or Co2 users when it comes to ball to bore factor, and not only limited or more critical to HPA tank users lar.

well well , legal paintball sites in Ipoh, none that i've know of. illegal sites, you might be lucky to spot one.
