I put my glasses further away from my eyes, I can see blue tint when not looking through the glass. But when you look through the glass, you can see more yellowish hue.
It distort natural color a bit. Recently i boughted spare glasses, opted without blue lenses since it's for outdoor. I tell ya, now i prefer that glass compared to my working glass.

The lens u used is the colorless white or those with slight yellowish lens?

The lens got yellowish color or totally transparent white?
I'm using anti-blue light lenses on my daily specs. Yes, It does reduce eye strain from gadgets, regardless of what the media says, it does work. Only drawdown is that since I'm using it the whole day, my whole world view becomes slightly tinted in yellow. But doesn't bother me anyways, got used to it.

Totally transparent white. It also doubles up as reactive sunglasses used when driving under hot sun. The lens will turn dark when exposed to sunlight. When gaming, can notice the contrast/brightness is less eye piercing.
If I remember correctly, it cost me RM1,600. It has no power.

I had mine included into my prescription lenses. Compared to my old prescription lenses w/o blue light filter, I experienced less strain on my eyes. I also set all my screens to lower its blue light projection.
It doesn’t help “reduces eye strain” in any meaningful way.
Furthermore, if it does filter out “blue light”. Most of what you see will be more greenish/yellowish/reddish.
But hey, if looking at things which are warmer calms you down, go for it. That’s why some people prefer yellow warm lighting at home rather than bright white light.

Need to see who's the inventor of this blue-blocking lens...He now works with Acuity Eye Group
QUOTE
The present invention relates generally to optical lenses, and more particularly to externally-worn optical lenses which are designed to minimize glare, contrast sensitivity, chromatic and spherical aberrations and color distortion while maximizing visual acuity and blockage of a predetermined percentage of light wavelength transmission throughout the blue light spectrum.

But home tv got this function?
Got..change to cinema mode and avoid using dynamic mode. The brighter the tv is, the faster your eyes becum tired. Im using a blue lite prescription glass and i can watch movie close to 10 hours without sore eyes. Most of the time, my tv is set in cinema mode rather than dynamic mode. It does help.

I never use dynamic mode, it's for showroom to wow buyer only, eye will KO if everyday watch tv in that mode.
I normally use standard and tune down the brightness and contrast. Cinema mode all color become super yellowish

Yeah.. this is standard color used in cinema le.. thats y its called cinemq mode. It just take a few minutes for ur eyes to accept the color and the rest is history.
If u dont want to spend for a glasses, use the cinema mode to help your eyes less fatigue..

some people however is PWM sensitive, and some display unit with low PWM frequency, it gets 'tired' when the display unit get dimmer like recently iPhone 12 due to lower PWM this time people reporting they feel 'tired' when look at it especially low brightness
i guess there are many kind of reason that can fatigue your eyes

If that the case, thr blu lite filter glasses might help them..

Yeap, I experienced this too
And because of it you will see colours a bit different from what it supposed to be especially when looking at computer/phone/TV screen etc.

Some phone have a anti-blue filter. You can switch it on and see any difference or not. Most effective during nights.
I seldom play my smartphone, most of my eye fatigue comes from office PC display and TV. Both also adjusted to low brightness.
anti blue filter is not same as low brightness. Some monitor also have blue filter. Some labelled it as night light setting. Try it and see any difference to you.

Tv no such mode, I’m experimenting with warm color mode vs cool color mode (less blue in warm). As for PC display, i see when I turn on blue light mode, and if I turn the brightness down too much the mode become OFF...
Sun gives way more energy than screen, and did people from the ancient time go blind?
Well, ppl don't stare at the sun for 8 hours, but modern ppl do stare at the LED display for 8 hours or more.... It's probably a combination of many factors, the short distance (eye more stress), the long hours of staring at the screen etc......
