Looks like it is a legit promo, and maybe only a handful of people received the email.

I didnt see anyone posted about this email in any PS5 group, which usually people will share this kind of news. So either no one received it, or they are keeping it for themselves to avoid other people start camping tonight

Yes. Last week I checked they listed down the PS4 version ONLY for RM249. Today when I want to pre-order, they changed it and stated PS4 version for RM249 and free upgrade to PS5 version at no extra cost. But at the same time, they also provide the RM299 for PS4 and PS5 version. Don't know it's a bug or a trap. Some youtubers did make a hoo-haa on this few days ago. Here's one of them.

Of course most people will choose the free upgrade one and save that RM50. But at the same time, I also worry that this is a glitch and Sony may screw this up and end up with no free upgrade. It's hard to believe that Sony would put 2 different price tags for the exact same thing at the same time. They assume we are generous enough and would choose the more expensive one instead?

There's a shop in Kuching selling ps5 available for walk in customers. They are offering two types of bundle. One bundle u gotta purchase one extra controller + 12 games and another bundle u gotta purchase three controllers + 16 games. The prices for the games, controllers and console are all listed as retail. Also sold out after 1 hour they posted the offer in FB

recently i noticed that one of my DS5 controller have issues
the left stick looks like drifting upwards

how do i send for repairs? to r-logic?

Is it? hmm....thx for the info, because i walk-in to the well-know game store, the sales person told me to get ps5 disc game instead of ps4 disc which got free upgrade to ps5. The graphic will be better in ps5 disc......

Would like to remind people that Horizon Forbidden West PS4 version can be found for less than RM190. Because Sony no balls u-turn, the PS4 version is still eligible for free upgrade to the PS5 version.

Also surprised to see the option to include a Corsair MP600 pro as an additional purchase in their latest interest form.

Just wanna note that the MP600 pro isn't a bad drive, but somewhat overpriced. You can get a Kingston KC3000 (which uses the same Phison E18 controller with Micron's latest 176 layer TLC NAND) for less money (just bought a 1TB for RM600), then have extra money to buy a the Sabrent or PNY nvme PS5 heatsinks which will perform better than the MP600's included heatsink.

It might be the long awaiting list is normal PS5, Horizon bundle not as demanding as the normal set.
However, after looking at the list, my friend finally knew why he was not shortlisted, most of the buyers bundle more than 3.5k (i.e. Horizon bundle, dualshock, plate, psn,  SSD)
